im raising a real issue here.
if bigfoot was really discovered. what status will humanity give it/him? beast or man or sub-human?
like i've said before, given our own history, even in the past europeans considered african blacks as primitive, sub-human........ do not deny this.. it is a historical fact.
if we can do that to our own species, imagine the legnth the people in power would do to keep this issue out of public? make it the same as ufos? a tall tale?
swamp gas? bear? man in costume? the thing is that they do not want these things to exist. deniability means less mess to clean up... no evidence, no nothing.
no forest and timerbland set aside for these "people". no sovereign nation or tribe status given. whatever........ maybe the government has known about bigfoots for a while... they are just making damn sure no one else discovers them........ cleaning up dead bones what not....... i know it sounds like conspiracy.......... but a nation under a government who's elected by people of biblical believes has everything to gain by not acknowledging the existance of humanoid beings that proves the "FACT" of evolution.

I did. Your deleted thread was nonsense and had no bearing on this new thread you have posted. In future do not post threads asking why a topic has been deleted. Instead PM one of the mods.
I have now changed the title of this thread.

It depends on your school of thought if your a liberal nut you believe conservative Christian are behind it along with any other problems in your life on the other hand a reasonable person would acknowledge that if remains were discovered by the forestry service they might be inclined to destroy the remains after all once bigfoot becomes a real animal, people might be less inclined to go to our national forest which would reduce there funding. Here is one other thing for all your conspiracy nuts to consider our government couldn't keep it's wiretapping program secret for acouple of years yet you believe they have successfully keep bigfoot a legend for decades.

from what we know it seems to be more of an animal then human, it's not like theyre walking out of the forest to go grocery shopping.

Wow, I am almost tempted not to waste the time thinking about this.
I imagine Bigfoot would get renamed something like "Noth American Giant Ape" and get thrown in zoos and it's natural habitat protected. No reason to attach any more human status to it than we attach to another other ape.

are you kidding? if people knew for sure bigfoot was REAL, they'd be flocking to the woods hoping to see one... the only reason I can think a gov would hide the truth, would be to protect the bigfoot populations....

How does bigfoot prove the facts of evolution? In my opinion Bigfoots are just another ape. Nothing more, just another ape that is rarely seen because of its small population.

First off I don't think the Forest Service is hiding anything I just think that fear of Bigfoot scaring off a bunch of hikers and them hiding is alot more likely then a vast Christian/ right wing conspiracy. The only reason I think it might generate fear is because of how difcult it seems to be to see one, I do think there would be initial surge of people wanting to get a look but that will quickly fade when most fail to and I all I'm saying is alot of hikers and campers might not be comfortable doing it in area where a large ominvore ape that's very sleathy and good at camoflauge lives.

Can we pick from myth?
Well, if a bigfoot was found, he is just an animal.

All a humanoid is is a creature that
has the same shape as a human not
intellect. So this could be said either
way.
Bigfoot = nothing more than a
bipedal ape if it does existe.

so they cannot be considered a separate breed of man?
homo erectus, neanderthals, etc. we can also say that they are not human, but given the same argument, if either one of them are found to still exist. do you still consider them as animals and treat them as such? do they even want you to consider them as animals?
if bigfoot has the mental capacity of either one of these beings, what do "human" like us do with them? what if they do not conider themselves as animals? then what? does the authorities give them rights and sovereignty over their territories?.
