I'm a total skeptic about everything, but I had to look at this several times. What do you guys make of it.

i have watched this clip over and over and would say it was fake except it was on ghost hunters and i don't believe they would do that.it was shot in an old prison and maybe one of the inmates that were incarcerated there.it's one of the more interesting pieces of video that i have seen.thanks

It is very interesting, some have argued it's fake due to seeing sneekers on the dark apperation but then would the in-mates not have worn sneekers themselves?
Personally I think its a 50/50 it could be real if the people hosting ghost hunters didn't butcher _not the crew of ghost hunters but thier financer_ it tho they had very limited time to do this if they had. So I'm undecided over it, its one of the more interesting clips I've seen and i dont tire from its frequent appearance.

This clip was on a different thread before, and sorry, but it's a fake.
You can even see his shoes and, if you look closely, the dust speeds up when he's running back. Still a good fake and has scared the wits out of a few people.

why is it that everyone thinks it's fake because of the shoes? so it's fake because ghosts don't wear shoes? and yes the dust is sped up because it's moving really fast. i have slowed this down frame by frame and i'm telling you there is no way this could have been faked. even if it was sped up the persons head would be bobbing up and down not to mention the feet don't even actually lift off the ground...

No one can see what's on that thing's "feet," or what that thing is exactly, or much else about it. It is too indistinct.

Nor can any of us say it's definitely fake. Or that it couldn't be faked. I tend to doubt it's a hoax for reasons already given.

BTW, a person who is "skeptical of everything" will be skeptical of conventional explanations. Fair's fair!

I find that piece of information to be a fake and me typing here is a mere figment of my imagination along with earth, the universe and everything in it, (must be hard to be a skeptic of everything) so I'm going to click the non-existing 'add reply' button and leave it at that.

Ugh, I've seen this thing a million times. It is interesting but saying it can't be faked that's taking it a bit too far. Anything can be faked. I don't care if the ghostie is wearing Reebok's or Doc Martin's I'm not convinced either way.

i remember seeing the episode this was on, and they went back to try and replicate it with a blanket over one of the guys heads.

It actually looked a Lot like the original when they tried to replicate it but a Lot slower, he could barely walk with it on his head, so i dont know.. if they wanted to they might be able to have faked it.

Yeah, i think people tend to say it's fake as a way of making them seem to know more than people who are open-minded and not so quick to label something as fake. personally, i couldn't tell you what it is, so i'll say it is a very interesting video and not try to say for sure if it's real or fake, because i don't know for sure.

Guys, try doing a search before creating a new thread. Well, I understand as searches can be a pain in the rear. This same clip has a thread on it from a year ago. It would only help you guys out because it already discusses the clip. it would also help to prevent a discussion of something that has already been discuss. By no means am I trying to be mean.... just help by providing convenience.

i have to say it is fake. i saw that episode of ghost hunters and theyre were kids pulling pranks. its definetly som1 running

personally, i think its fake, but my friend saw it on ghost hunters and to quote him "everything on ghost hunters is real." he thinks spongebob lives in his sink..

Its people like Morgan's mate that spoils the credibility for shows like ghost hunters.

First off, Yep was on ghost hunters..Nope Not running back..only went One Direction Foward...it's on a Forward Reverse Loop. They tried to reproduce it, similar but not fast enough. If you get Season One Ghost Hunters on Ebay or something you can watch the footage for yourselves.

At least now we know. Never heard of a forward reverse loop, but now I've seen one I'll know what to llok for next time.

what do you mean its looped? look again, there are parts you dont see when it runs forward compared to when it runs back, eg what looks like a leg.

dust is going different directions but never stops and goes backwards, you would Easily be able to tell if it was reversed.

i dont know, its a very hard one to judge, as theres nothing to pick out and say oh that looks like this or that.
when it goes back it does look a little sped up though having watched it again. hmm, one of those ones that will just stay a mystery probably, i trust the taps people and doubt they would bother to fake anything but you never know

I have to agree with jonb. Looks like 2 different directions to me.
