Why is my first instinct to yell "Fake!"? Maybe because of the tropical habitat? Bigfoot looking for a tan? Or is it because the creature looks like a discarded prop from an amusement park?

Yep..have seen these apes on wildlife documentaries before...it certainly would appear to be a skunk ape

Also..if you put skunk ape into 'Wikipedia'..it shows a different picture of the same ape in the same location.

yea, this picture is a fake. My uncle grew up in Everglades City his whole life and he said he's never seen any type of apes or monkeys in the everglades. and he gives tours for a living there so u'd think that with all the time he spends in the everglades that he'd see a skunk ape of some sort, but he has never seen anything remotely like it.
