Why not? you described what a super hero was and he is all those things that YOU listed? and besides hes a a member of the J.S.A. A SUPER HERO team.

How is hulk a superHERO, he just bust everything up and would hurt anybody or anything in his way. he has no super powers except for the ability to get super pissed and get some beer muscles on, i mean the only thing that makes him do good stuff is betty, i like the hulk, but don't see him as a hero.

Hero = like a policeman. Super hero = like... robocop.

A cut above the average hero. The average hero being a cut above regular people.

I'd say Batman is a "superhero" because well... he rescuse firemen and cops, and has ability beyond the average detective because of his training. Also, just going by the "noble" aspect, he's a cut above in that respect too. He's a hero, a crime fighter, and a cut above your average cop/detective. A few cuts above. He creates his powers instead of them being innate though.

What!? Did you just watch the crap films and read the odd comic from the 70`s?? Hulk has been in many guises at one time, not just the mindless Hulk favoured by film makers. Once he kept all the intelligence of bana and the strengths of the Hulk. He also is a member of a super hero team (the defenders) and an honoury Avenger, another super hero team and as to him only being strong its a bit more then your average strong man he can press 100+ ton when he is relaxed and is immune to most forms of harm and disease, I would call them super powers.

I am going by the definition from the dictionary, it clearly stated a superhuman must posess abilitys greater than that of a Human.............Batman has none!
Admittedly he is Kick arse and very noble and Brave, a superhero he is not

well if say that, then you have to say that all hereos that hide behind a mask are not heroes...

well you see heroes that hide in masks are not considered heores...considered antiheroes cause they are not completly good in some ways, they are more human than anything...but im an ignorant of that subject...i dont know much about it...

But if Goku doesn't count than it has to be Batman, for the simple reason nothing is super about him, except smarts.
