Ummmn are you sure friend? im giving ifinite posibilities!
Celumnaz
hehe pretty sure... there may be some obscure hero or something... I dunno... but it's what I think! original.gif

doesn't count Villians or those... amoral "beings", at least the way I read it.

Supes stereotypically embodies all the good stuff about mankind, and has most every power when you get creative with his abilities.

Sure he may be outshined in certain areas, like never being as fast as Flash, but all in hall he's the total package!

What about Quasar?...Can he beat Superman?

Super-Man vs. Goku. That would be a fight worth watching. yes.gif

Even though he is not the strongest or fastest super hero, Wolverine will always be my favorite. The Flash and NightCrawler are pretty interesting heroes as well.

Warlock? whos that?

Warlock is a member of the alien Technarchy, a race of mechanical organisms that survive by infecting living creatures with the "techno-organic" transmode virus, before draining the life energy ("lifeglow") of the infected organism. Warlock, unlike others of his race, possesses a distinctive degree of compassion, and as a result has been described as a mutant himself. He is the son of the Technarch ruler, Magus, who has battled the New Mutants and the X-Men. Warlock served as a member of the original New Mutants for most of that group's existence, and become a close friend of his teammate Doug Ramsey, alias Cypher, until Doug's death at the hands of the Ani-Mator. Warlock was subsequently killed on the island nation of Genosha during the "X-Tinction Agenda" crossover.

not quite right but close!

Later, a group of humans called the Phalanx appeared. This group had been mutated into techno-organic forms via the transmode virus, which had been extracted from Warlock's corpse. One of the Phalanx was "Douglock", a lookalike of Doug Ramsey who possessed all of Doug's memories and believed himself to actually be Doug Ramsey. Douglock joined the European mutant team Excalibur.

WOW, talk about butchering one character with a lame resumé, I could tell you lots of things to contradict that, such as he later turned thanos to stone and blah blah blah, if interested just check my link, I really don't need to explain while there is a link.
BTW, thanos was about one of the most powerful villains in the history of marvel comics, if not the most. Don't want to get in debate about that anyway.

Yup Apollo, his powers include super-strength, flight, and near invulnerability (he has been able to enter a lava flow to deactivate a volcano). His eyes are constructed to concentrate solar energy into alser like blasts. Apollo can also release ernegy in a sort of omni-directional blast, but this move is taxing.

Like Superman, Apollo's powers are dependent on the Sun. His body was altered to store and convert solar energy to power his abilities, which disappear or weaken if his solar reserves are low. Inversely, his powers also increase the more energy he has absorbed. Apollo can drain himself through overuse of his powers since living on the Carrier does not provide him with a constant exposure to solar energy. However, even when drained he will be able to operate after 20 seconds in direct sunlight, though it would take him 1 minute to be able to fly and 2 hours to be at full charge.

He can survive in anaerobic environments for a short period, by the simple method of not breathing.

Apollo has been described a number of times as a Majestic-Class superhuman. yes.gif

Hulks a Super Hero all be it a slightly misunderstood and confused one!

Definition of superhero-

A superhero is a fictional character who is noted for feats of courage and nobility and who usually has a colorful name and costume and abilities beyond those of normal human beings. The continuing, saga-like stories of superheroes have become an entire genre of fiction which has dominated American comic books.

can wolverine qualify as a superhero? Hes kick arse but he isn't renown for his feats of courage or nobility?

What are other peoples opinion on this? Maybe i'm wrong.

Does Batman have abilities beyound that of a human? i dont think so! (surely he would be in the crime fighter catagory!)

I bed to differ about Wolverine hes renowned for his courage his whole persona comes from the fact that he will continue fighting even in extreme circumstance`s. Also he is noble as he has often sacrificed his own needs for others.

Batman is most definitely a super hero! he`s far more then an average person every thing you listed above applies to batman and more.

Fair enough on you point about Wolverine original.gif , However im standing firm on the fact Batman is not a Superhero, he has no added abilitys of that of a human. So by definition he is not a superhero! he's a crime fighter
