Hey some pretty strange stuff happened while I was at my friends house that left us baffled, and one of us is a hardcore skeptic...anyway I'll wrote seperatly below the two incidences:

First my friend put a full bottle of tomato sauce on a shelf in a pantry, closed the door and about a minute later there was a loud bang. We opened the door and it had splattered on the floor as if it had been stood on/chuck down with heavy force. I came to this conclusion, that if it did fall down...it was about 4 feet off the floor I doubt it would have split, and if it had it wouldn't have splattered from that height.

The other thing was a CD litterally flew off the top of a speaker, it couldn't have been bass or wind because it was on two CD cases and they would have moved too. So I did a test and put the CD back and pushed it off with my hand and it travelled the same distance. This prooves that it was quite a force pushing it, any ideas?

hi solidsnake,
that's weird! the bottle falling and breaking may have been just a normal mishap, but the cd flying across the room is freaky.has your friend ever had anything like this happen before?let us know if anything else happens.thanks. wacko.gif

And without gravity hangings would never have worked. unsure.gif

I'd passed it off as gravity if the bottle didn't explode when it hit the floor...I mean it looked like a massacre.

Not sure really, I think about 5 years.

Pretty weird stories. I agree with Greywolf that the first story with the ketsup bottle
was probably just a simple mishap. But the second story is very strange.
Have any other incidents occured before or since?
Mookie
As before, I agree the ketchup bottle could have been just some wird mishap, but the CD fling is definately interesting. Has anything else happened since then?
Just out of curiosity, what was on the CD that flew?

I'd say this has the same explanation as does a Poltergeist. As you say that you had to exert quite a bit of pressure on the CD to make it fly, some kind of "force" had been exerted in the first case and it must have required considerable force to make the ketchup bottle split (was it a plastic bottle?) and spatter the contents from that height, I'd say you have a Poltergeist around your house. Poltergeist activity exists but so far no complete explanation has been found. Accept it as Poltergeist activity and then find the explanation for that. Where I live, all paranormal activity seems to have ceased, unfortunately. Stay on the alert for more activity and take lots of notes. Good luck thumbsup.gif yes.gif LONECAT

i had the same problem with a picture of my grandfather hanging on the wall it woul drop from the wall but end up over the other side of the room... weird

My daughter knocked a ketchup bottle from the fridge and it splattered everywhere so I don't think a whole lot of force is needed to make a plastic ketchup bottle splatter.

As for the cd, I dunno they are pretty aerodynamic. I don't see how it could just fly across the room on it's own. mellow.gif

Barry Manilow.

Think your right, if it was Micheal Bolton as I origionally thought then it would have exploded killing everything in the room saving them from ever having to hear his work ever again, could have been Barbera Streissand tho.

Any one of those should have been flung across the room and then smashed with the ketchup bottle. That's just common sense. innocent.gif

Maybe the former owner of the house is a music critic. tongue.gif Any CD by either of them would
drive any sane person to irrational acts of violence.

Was this bottle opened when she dropped it. Also were gonna take a few pictures around the house to see if we find anything, you know the usual Most Haunted stuff tongue.gif

No. It was one of those plastic ones and it was closed. She dropped it from a height of maybe 2 1/2 feet or so and the darn thing exploded.
Can't wait for the pics!!
