I've heard it used for PS2, to play non-online games with other players, for instance GT4. It tricks the console into thinking it's playing on a LAN. I assume that on Xbox, it lets you bypass the Xbox Live fees, although of course the service isn't as good.
oh... well that's cheap.... I pay for good ol' unreliable xbox live....afterall...Microsoft seems to need the donations

Warthog Jousting?
Best used on maps such as Coagulation! You need two warthogs and a driver. Basically you drive right at the other warthog while he drives at you and you basically have a head on collision! Crazy ass crashes occur.
There are many variants of this lil' game, but my friends and I like to keep the players of our game off the chain gun and only allow a driver and passenger with a pistol. There for there are many drive by's while trying to avoid the other warthog!
Can't tell you how many times those damn warthogs will flip!

I use to play that all the time...no one wanted to play it with me though
Next time your on coagulation go over to the redbase. In front you will see three rocks with the sniper ammo inbetween. Situate yourself so your looking straight at the rocks with the base to your right. Have someone stand against the flatedge of the rock out furthest to the left. Have the driver lower their handicap and smash into the player while they are crouched looking at the rock...make sure the player is hit with the left side of the warthog.
I call this golfing
...what should happen is the person against the rock should go flying up and to the left.... if you can get them in the top hole of the opposite base it's a hole in one!Do you have Live Otacon?
