Yea it is twisted. She was more than likely born that way-- AntiSocial Personality Disorder.. These people express signs even as early as 4.... they are like machines... walking machines these people. She's definitely one of them. If she was abused (i'm not aware) it's just more than likely adding gasoline into a fire....

I read quite a bit of the story though i havn,t finished it,But i just have to wonder why her mother was never charged with child abuse? And can you ever regain a truely normal mind and life after receiving and commiting such violence? I find it doubtful, there just have to be some lasting effects! And i wouldn,t want to come into contact with her ever!

Good grief people. I have researchd Mary Bell extensively. If you knew what that young child endured then you would understand the rage she had inside of her. You would understand why she was driven to murder.

Mary Bells mother sold the body of Mary when she was a toddler to pedophiles who would come over to her house and have their way with the child in front of her mother. That's only a part of it.

She was born a normal child but she was horrificaly abused and taken advantage of.
