Ok, I know this isn't really a political forum and there are plenty of those out there. But I like you guys. Contrary to what some may think, Conspiracy Theorists and Supernatural researchers and the smartest people out there. You've learned to think for yourselves and many people never get that far. So I'm sending this one to you. Here goes.
I've noticed a trend. Many here speak of Illuminati or other secret occult groups using there power to control our lives. What if it's actually something simpler? What if it's just a bunch of rich elitists trying to control life? Now I'm in the good ol USofA and I know a lot of people on this forum are from a lot of different places. Maybe we can get your imput of what's going on in your countries too.
Here is the USA things have been up and down for awhile, but lately it seems to be following a pattern. First, Bush II was elected. He had some freaky ideas, but then 9/11 happened (and I'm not suggesting it was somehow arranged by the elitists, but that was the first thought to go through my head that day). Now, the country was ripe for the rich and powerful to get everything they dreamed of. We were now free to make war whether it was a good idea or not, when anyone with half a brain knew that this would probably make things worse. It would make a huge dent in the budget, make the rest of the world even madder at us and would seemingly be endless.
Now, back home, really weird programs start to crop up. The rich and powerful have always been interested in two things, more money and more power. That's why they invented things like credit. People think they own things like their house and their car when guess what people, you don't! The bank does. Credit is not the same as cash. Credit was invented to get people to think that they were doing ok. It was to keep the middle class from realizing there is no middle class. You're either rich or you aren't. This has been going on for generations, but now it seems to be excelerating.
Now we have programs like The Patriot Act which is supposed to protect us from those scary foreigners when all it really does is (slowly so no one will notice) suspend civil liberties. And speaking of foreigners, sounds like we're coming close to closing the borders. Wouldn't want anyone to interfere with our evil plans. Next we have things like the No Child Left Behind Act which is supposed to make our children smarter. The government decides what we're supposed to learn and how it's supposed to be taught. We test over and over to make sure they are getting brainwashed ( I mean taught) all they want our children to learn. If the kids don't meet these guidelines then they swoop down and take over the school to make sure they get the "best education" Seem fishy to anyone else?
Should I even bother with the price of gas? Ok, we have a huge hurricane that hits areas with oil refineries and poof the gas goes up. Ok, that makes some sense, except that the prices going up is in response to the price of oil going up, which is decided by OPEC and has nothing to do with Katrina. It's not our oil prices going up because we don't use our own oil! People say we should drill in Alaska for more oil. For what? All we do is stockpile American oil! All the oil we use is produced somewhere else. No the government wants to drill in Alaska because the President and his buddies will profit from the work, not so we can use the oil.
And one final one for me. Everyone else please feel free to add to this list. I started this thread to see what other observations people had made. My last conspiracy observation is this- Medicare Prescription Drug Program. wink2.gif That smilie should say it all, but I'll elaborate. It is, my friends, one more program for the rich. The program allowed seniors to sign up for a myriad of different programs all promising to save money with the drug companies by allowing seniors to pay a monthly premium and then a copay at the pharmacy. This would mean no one would have to choose between their groceries and their medicine anymore. It didn't take long to see who this would benefit. The program started in May right? One trip for my mother to the drug store and I realized that this program was a sham. I'm sure there will be people that pay less, the ones that weren't so bad off to begin with or those that were taking huge amounts of expensive drugs. The rest, no way. My mother, if she sticks with the same medicines, is now going to be paying (and I don't exagerate) 10 times more than she paid before. See, low income people are given help by state and county programs (at least in most places in the country) to pay for the medicine they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. Because of the so-called Medicare help, seniors no longer will be qualified to use these programs. You HAVE to use the Medicare program or pay full price.
So I'm thinking, what is it they are really trying to do here? What agenda are they trying to accomplish by keeping the poor poor and now it seems trying to bankrupt their own country? Please let me know your ideas!

I don't know much of the illuminati but i do think there are certain people and cooperations with a lot of power. If these people we're to unite and form a club with shared interests and goals, they would prolly have more power and influence than the president himself.

I think americas main agenda is to ensure they're dominating the next millenium and making sure china isn't capable of endangering their position as sole superpower. I think the biggest threat for them is china and they are solidating their postion in the middle east for the upcoming energy crisis. 9/11 happened to be a convenient disaster to invade Afghanistan and build this huge pipeline, invade Iraq because they switched from USD to Euros and prolly to be less dependant of Saudi oil. Iran is probably next but the difficulties in Iraq have put these plans on hold.
