To make things more convenient for a few of our chat regulars, I've extended the chat times so that the chat will now start 1 hour earlier than usual. If you can't make it earlier, don't worry, you won't miss anything, the chat usually goes on for several hours, so you can still join in at the previous starting time.

If you don't have mIRC, you can also join us via our java chat client, which is very easy to use. Remember to type your username in the box that says 'yournickhere'. The chat room applet can be accessed by clicking HERE.

The time at which the chat starts varies depending on where you are in the world, so here's a brief summary.

UK Time 7pm GMT

If you have daylight savings where you are, you'll need to apply them aswell, but these are roughly the times elsewhere :

3pm EST ( Eastern Time USA & Canada )

2pm Central ( Central Time USA & Canada )

12pm PST ( Pacific Time USA & Canada )

I've been advised to pace myself on a project I am working on, so I decided to give myself some time to visit on line as well as just kick back and do nothing occasionally. (Hope that works...lol )

whats a chat? i mean, i know a chat is like a short conversation, but what is a chat on a computer?

A chat is basically a 'live' variation of the forum, everyone taking part logs into the chat room at the same time, and anything that gets typed appears instantly on the chat window.

The best way to find out how it all works is to come along and try it out for yourself, you'd be welcome to join us.

damn, i hate computers! when do you replace your user name with anonymous? when you log in? that button says log in, not connect! i clicked the "click here" thing in the first post! it just told me stuff about how to get to the chat, it didnt get me there!
