The first image, Monument.jpg, is from San Carlos St. in San Jose, CA. The orange and purple monstrosity in the background is the Tech Museum of Innovation. It's a destination I swore never to visit because attendance was status quo for all Silicon Valley residents. Of no help was the hoopla when Al Gore made an appearance.

Image #2 was taken at Oak Hill Cemetery on Monterey Rd., also in San Jose. The emblem on the tombstone was not superimposed. You can see it for yourself near the east entrance if you're ever in the neighborhood.
