I luv that book!!!!!!! It is awesome! If you had not read it, you should! I just got finished with the second one and it may not be as good as the first but still awesome!

whats it all about?

Okay, I have to admit not everyone would just love this book like me and all the other kids who've read it, just tellin' ya. It's about these six kids who were born as genetic experiments, in a science facility ironically called the School. But a scientist kidnapped them and took them away 'cause he felt sorry for them four years ago. So the oldest kid is Max who is 14, Fang 14, Iggy 14, Nudge 12, Gasman 8, and Angel who is 6. The guy who kidnapped them dissappeared two years after he took 'em away and they thought he was dead all this time. But when the youngest kid, Angel, is kidnapped by the School again they have to rescue her. Did I mention before these kids have wings? Well, they do, that's how you can tell they're experiments. So, now, along with saving their youngest member they're also finding out about what happened to their parents, who's behind all of the experiments and stuff like that. It's more exciting then it sounds.

kind of a cyberpunk type thing then? or perhaps at least similar to it...

Yeah, pretty much. I love it!
