I know of those who believe that the "Second Comming" of Christ is here. Walking the earth today. Could the saviour be here...? Is this true?

And if so... where is he/she to be found, America, Africa, Prison, Captivation? Or is this person still young and unaware of his/her duties to fullfill for the almighty.

Could it be me or you, probably not, becuase we have sinned and/or and born sinners.

Fact of the matter is that the bible says nothing of Jesus 'walking the earth' waiting for judgement day. It speaks of the antichrist being alive and well and that Jesus will not set foot upon the earth until the VERY end, to stop the war of armageddon. All those taken away in the 'rapture' will supposedly meet jesus halfway in the sky.

You may be too lazy to do a topic search, but at least get the bare essential facts in order before starting a thread.

You said Jesus could be walking the Earth and I told you why that question neednt be asked with a bit of reading. Revelation or any other book never says anything about Jesus being 'alive and waiting' for the end of the world.

While Im not a Christian, I do a ton of work with all major religions and think it is important to respect and appreciate them. I too find it upsetting how someone just types "jesus" in their thread and everyone swarms in trying to call their religion or their god all sorts of names. I mean, honestly...I wouldnt dare.

Yeah, Im going by the KJ and NIV, although both are re-writes, they are very similar and the effect is the same. In those books it speaks of the end times as the time when the wheels are in motion and the antichrist and the beast are alive and well. I think you were just a bit mixed up, is all. It is a question for the ages, literally and truly. Throughout time man has talked of the end times. Quotes about the wickedness of man surely bringing about the end have been recorded since not long after the time of Jesus himself! In the 30s-40s most of the Christian world was certain that Hitler was the antichrist and WWII was Armageddon. It is a popular idea because it is sensational and, quite frankly, scary.

Lot of anger when it comes to religion. I am not religious but I am happy for people that find peace with it. I think Jesus, if he existed, was a man. A wise one for peaching peace and love. No second coming though.

How do you know the war of Armageddon is not right now? I suppose that it's quite valid to say that the war of Good vs Evil is now stronger than ever, maybe not to you and i as we see peace in our democracies, but definitly STRONG. I would imagine that the second comming would more subtle and realistic, he would be born and raised just as all of us are, and he was before, unable to sin.

Well you know, when you put it that way, I suppose that is a definite possibility. God is supposed to work within the rules of his creation, right? So I guess Jesus just going *POOF* and appearing is a bit off. Thats a unique take...very interesting. Maybe the biblical wording meant that he wouldnt make himself KNOWN until the end.

As for Armageddon, I think, if it is real, than it is a definite possibility that these could be the opening stages of it...although I remember my family saying the same thing about the first Gulf War in the 90's. The "false peace" is one to watch for, though...although some say it may have already happened.

Maybe (I must clarify with 'if this is true' ) we arent supposed to notice it happening...to sort of see what choices we would naturally make.

I like your ideology of false peace. You cannot make much peace with war, as we have learned in history, and over the years. I don't know a whole lot about JESUS being alive today, and this is truth. This is why i started this forum. I will say, yes he is alive today.

If he is alive, he is like me and you, maybe living hardships or oppressed. Waiting for the right time to approach back to the forefront and arise for what is GOOD. Or he might not even know he is JESUS.

This time he returns not in the time of when Babylon is beginning to rise, being the days Jesus of Nazereth was around. But now, the battle of armageddon. The war between all humans, rich vs poor, babylon oppressing the world youths and forcing into TWO specific world classes. Rich and poor. Rich white supremecy does rule over all human kind. In the media, and in the mind of rich elite families. However, the second comming could be easily Halie Selassie. Whom is said to be alive today,as he lives and rules all, today. He could be the second comming, and was said to have been killed and found under a toilet. But this was said to merely discredit Rastafari. For the soul of JESUS is similar to ours, merely a vessel, said to be awaken in the mist of armageddon. This is a plausiable answer, for it IS war now, between classes, countries, races and religion. Jesus said he would return. The thing is that many prophets would come after his like they did before him to teach and rise people into heaven. Jesus would return at the end of times as said in the scriptures.
