Review: Not really all that much to do with the actual comics apart from the name... Frank Castle is portrayed quite well by Lungren though, as the film captures the veeery dark humour of Frank Castle, plus a few memorable torture moments from the comics... The thing that annoyed my was that the Punisher didn't have his regular skull logo on his shirt

Review: I thought that the film was quite good, and stayed fairly faithful to the comics... Not any really well done torture scenes from the comics, but a good sense of action nevertheless... Jane portrays an angry man who likes killing people, and the fact that there were next to no CGI stunts fills me with confidence...
As for the comics... I love em, especially the MAX issues... They portray Castle perfectly and are extremely violent... however, they are more realistic...
