Indeed, only a cover-up by the Journal and all the usual Government suspects has prevented the story being told ... until now.Asylum – The Definitive UFO and Alien Abduction Experience is written by Anthony R. Mallin and claims to be based on the story of a real person, Clive Powers, who as a boy in 1960 was groomed by the aliens when they touched down in Syston five years earlier.When the Grantham landing happened in Green Lane, Powers suffered the torment of abduction while 'drawn' out to the site with his mate.He was sent to Rauceby and thence to an asylum in Croydon where his memory was agonisingly unravelled by a mysterious psychiatrist.It can be difficult to follow what's going on and it's difficult to check as the author claims names have been changed, oddly, to avoid "possible contraventions" of the Official Secrets Act. Perhaps there might have been greater concerns about making enemies from further afield.

But there are plenty of place names and so on to tickle the fancy of the Grantham reader, even if you were lucky enough not to get whisked away on that evening 40 years ago.Powers, who seemed to live in both Hamilton Road and Melbourne Road, went to Belton Lane Primary School and St Wulfram's (where some pretty amazing things happened). He worked at Parnell's TV shop and there is, inevitably, a big Ministry of Defence cover-up surrounding RAF Spitalgate and possibly the goings-on at Barkston Heath.But the real villains of the piece are at the Journal. When our intrepid hero is attempting to research what really happened he is met by sinister questions.

This sounds like it would be a fun book to read, and I guess it has some really cool alien pictures in it.

But does it sound credible? No. Still, the story is intrigueing.

Looks like a good read but I doubt it. A few people sure, but I don think aliens would risk hunred of people goin on board.

this alien junk is getting way to annoying. it's because the government are scaredy cats and can't tell the public the truth. oh no their just to wimpy to even think about telling the public the truth. why do we even have a government in the first place. if all their gonna do is tell a bunch of lies to their own people and act dumb and stupid and like wimps because of them being liers in the first place. oh for crying out loud. If the government hasn't done good for their country. In which case they haven't. And if you don't believe me look through history to find the truth. History shows that the government is worthless.

Man. I want so much to say what's on my mind. That it's not fair that I can't say what's on my mind or how I feel. Because of the government brainwashing us and installing us with fear. So as to make sure we never voice our feelings. Or talk about what's really on our minds. No instead, we have to lie. And keep our feelings and our thoughts to ourselves or else we'll get into trouble with the government. And then on the other hand the government doesn't want us to lie. How dumb is that. That the government writes up laws on sheets of paper saying in congress that ok we'll pass this law. And then they sign their name to the paper and declare it passed. Without even looking through it or having a care in the world about how this effects people like us. All they do is just sit in the meetings all day. Talking about blah blah this and blah blah that. And then look at the paper take their little pens and sign their names onto the paper. How stupid is that. What a waste of my time in trusting my government. If indeed I actually did trust my government. Thank God I don't. And I certainly never ever will ever again in all the days of my life. ever.

Do you think i'll beable to scare the government themselves with that that i've just said up there. scare them enough so that they'll have no choice but to tell the truth about aliens and ufo's. ha ha ha ha ha.

Sense there is nothing to tell, I imagine it would be hard to scare them.
