Very interesting indeed! I have heard about this on the History/Discovery channel, about how nazis and other nations in WWII started attempting to develop hovering devices after seeing these UFO phenomenon. It is said that these man made UFOs were the early helicopters, as the nazis ( Especially nazis ) thought that hovering aircraft was the ultimate fighting machine. Inspired by the UFOs, nazis had made their first design of a man made UFO, it was a GREAT.... Failiure. It looked like an upside down cone, with four propellers in the middle.
It was a failiure because the pilot had almost NO control over the craft, and landing was impossible since the cockpit faced upward into the sky when in landing position. And then again, since there was barely any control over the craft, any ammunition would make it unpredictably dangerous.
These same designs were made and tested by other countries, but with no solid proof of success. It was not later than a couple of months that another Man made UFO design was made, and thats when I had to leave, and stopped watching, I never saw that show again, atleast not yet.
I also know some inside info on nazi "assault disks" as my grandpa was in the war, he had access to many of these classified things, ( He was a Soviet BTW, Yes im Russian ) He once told me of these "disks of terror" or as the men began calling them, as they were extremely hard to hit, and extremely frightening to the eye.
These disks were small, about 3 ft. long & wide ( Perfect circles ). They had blades attached to them, which made a terryfying noise when operated, and two machine guns unknown to the battlefield that were unusually light. My grandpa was a scientist, working on making efficient bombs, when one day 3 men came running in with this "thing" in their hands... He was called down to investigate it, as he was the weapons specialist. It was grey, he said, with blood smeared all over the blades, as if they were recently used.
After closer examination he uncovered what would look like a form of anti gravity device, and im not going to say that he uncovered a super efficient alien device and he was a total bad@$$ and all, he actually was just a scientist working with weapons, and confirmed that this device altered gravity around it, since it was still operational, just not in the range of radio control, which he believed controlled it. The device altered gravity for about 0.0002 fraction of a second, but thats all it needed, it altered the gravity by that much and could not do it again for another 3 hours, as MASSIVE heating resulted, but that one tiny alter, kept this thing going for a whole hour before it fell to the ground.
My grandpa did not get the story of how this thing was captured, since blades usually prevented this. But all he knew this thing, had slain 42 soviets, before it was captured, it was a slaughterfest out there, people were literally ripped in half by these blades, and shot from a distance of up to 15 feet.
After the war, these disks were put in a bunker. ( Possibly AREA51 ) Stored away and the reason for not continuing study was not revealed to my grandpa, as he left the military, he never heard of this thing again, it is deep under cover, somewhere in a dark bunker, awaiting until its day comes again. ( But who knows )

There are people building remote control versions of these flying machines.

They sure are
But I dont exactly see a anti gravity device or whatever that gizmo is called
Thats just a radio controlled propeller, and small "Flap" like extendables control its direction. Its cool that you found it, but that does not fit my grandpas description at all, he said it was grey and almost shiny, looked and had openings for the gun(s). Blades stuck out the side. He did not find out exactly how it worked as he only got so much time with it.
Shame
I would love to ask him more questions but sadly he passed away, I remember the stroies he told me just like it was yesterday. *Sigh*

i was thinking the same heheh. Btw, that video with lyne has two versions and one i believe actually show more anti-gravity disc photos. One photo appears to be big enough to fit a 2 person crew. If you believe the oscillating generator is cool take a look at this:
1.
glassy metals2.
liquid metals3. researchers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory also reported making amorphous steel in bulk. Intriguingly, both steels are nonmagnetic, which has raised the U.S. Navy's hopes of using the material in submarine and other hulls that could evade magnetic sensors.--plastic steel
4. Rubber Metal

The video wouldn't load on my computer but I do believe the theory that Nazi scientists developed a UFO but when they lost the war the Soviets, Americans and Canadians (AVRO) developed their own. Forget all this alien crap, I think that the idea of aliens was made up by the government so people wouldn't panic during the Cold War (I'm starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist

).

i guess i should put out a personal experience, i put it in a different thread but this thread seems more appropiate, here is most of what i posted:
Now back to the JFK (cv-67), every personnel was informed to remain below decks not even the hangar bay and that an aircraft (that is all of what was being allowed to be described) was inbound. During the time the 'aircraft' was on the flight deck the onboard marines were posted to each hatch that led to the flight deck and only few were allowed onto the flight deck, one of them was an AIMD master chief who later stated (5 days later) that he used to believe in aliens but not anymore. He only stated this within our department and he never talked about it again. Yes 5 days later after being coaxed half jokingly with "what happened up there on the flight deck" and no he was not laughing but serious. Personally, i do not know what happened on the flight deck and will probably never know but the AIMD (aviation intermediate maintenance department) master chief knows and the experience changed his thinking entirely.

Boeing and anti-gravity
“Boeing, the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer, has admitted it is working on experimental anti-gravity projects that could overturn a century of conventional aerospace propulsion technology if the science underpinning them can be engineered into hardware“

Retired Admiral, Bobby Ray Inman got the ball rolling on that one. His past comments basically said that we have ET spaceships in our possession and that we have been back-engineering alien technology but before that, it has been suggested that S.A.I.C. of Southern California was experimenting in anti-gravity propulsion research. Well, after his retirement, Admiral Bobby Inman took on a new employment role at, you guessed it, S.A.I.C.

4. Rubber Metal
hereThe Glassy Metals:
The wispy metal strip in my hands is 8 inches long, 1 inch wide, and as thin as aluminum foil.“Try to tear it,” says William Johnson, a materials science professor at Caltech in Pasadena. I pull—first gently, but soon with all my might. No go.“See if you can cut this,” suggests Johnson’s postgraduate assistant Jason Kang, handing me a mirror-bright piece of the same metal. It’s an inch long, a quarter inch wide, and thinner than a dime. I bear down with a heavy-duty pair of wire cutters. The metal will not cut. I try again, squeezing with both hands until my fingers ache. Nothing. But the most amazing act in this show is yet to come.“Watch,” says Johnson. From a height of about two feet, he drops a steel ball onto a brick-size chunk of the metal. The ball bounces so high and for so long—1 minute and 17 seconds, with a metronomic tick, tick, tick—that it looks unreal, like some kind of cinematic special effect. “When you try that with regular steel, it goes ‘clunk, clunk, clunk’ and stops,” says Johnson. If the metal were glued to an unyielding surface such as concrete (instead of sitting on Johnson’s oak coffee table, which absorbs a lot of the energy), “the ball would bounce for more than two minutes,” he says. “I’ve done it.”This sounds like the material of the flying saucer that was discribed by witnesses to the
ROSWELL incident.
