who here watches stargate sg1 also tell us your favorite episode

I like SG1, there are MANY great episodes, I especially liked 'Lost City' from season 7, Reckoning and Moebius from season 8...

I love SG1, I've been watching the show for so long I couldn't even give a favorite episode, I love the movie too.

I'm not so much a fan of the atlantis series though but its still cool to watch sometime's.

Thats me. It would be really hard to pick one. The new season starts soon. Battlestar should be really good this season as well.

my favorite was when oneall got his head sucked by that machine and had all the knowledge of the ancients.

SG1 rules, shame O-neill (forgot the acters name) quit... but the acter who replaced him works kinda well in the series now I think.

Atlantis being a spinoff show, I thought it would be pretty damn crap because of that. but its actually pretty good, along with its own storyline (no matter...how long its been going on and the slowness of it...)

but yeah, Atlantis has worked well, just like Angel - the buffy the vampire slayer spinoff.

Richard Dean Anderson is his name, Ben Browder took over for him(well, he's been added to the show but he is a much different character). I can't say I have a favourite, they're all good to me. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching Atlantis on TMN (no commercials so it's that much better). I think with the Ori coming in season 10 full force and the new baddies in Atlantis it should be a decent year. Not to forget SG1's 200th episode, RDA will be guest starring...and did anyone say *cough* furlings *cough* being introduced!..... here's a theory.... the Furlings are Martins race and have been in three episodes already, two of them showing ships!

Those two episodes were Grace and Wormhole Extreme.

So I decided to catch up on squeakygate bought all the seasons 1 through 9, nine should be coming in the mail tomorrow. So after 2 weeks I'm on season 6 and the episode "The Other Guys," did felger and coumbs really save SG-1 or was Felger dreaming.

Just saw avenger 2.0 I guess he was not dreaming but then I get thrown off with his day dreaming again.

My favourite episode to date having only seen Seasons 1, 2, 4, 6. Would have to be Exodus from season 4 or Alligence from Season 6

I love stargate. The only show better is Sopranoes. I love these new bad guys, Ori, just because i like the power they possess. like watching X-men

I am a stargate fan, and am always annoyed if I miss any episode. Love all of it, old and new. The ori are cool, and so is vala, lol . I dont have a favourite episode.
How do you think the Ori could be destroyed?

I have a question: Whee any of the characters from the movie in the show? Did it refrence a the movie or anything?

SG1 is the best. I can't think of any specific favorite episode, though.

Cadetak47, the characters of Sam Carter and Teal'c were not in the movie. The characters of O'Neil and Dr. Jackson were played by different actors: O'Neil was played by Kurt Russell, and Dr Jackson by James Spader. I don't know about Gen. Hammond, though. Oh, and the woman whose father found the Stargate in 192? was in the movie as well, played by a different actress. And Jackson's wife and her brother and father were in the movie as well. Jackson's wife in the movie was played by Mili Avital (don't know if that's spelled right). It's hard to say if the movie was referenced in any of the shows, there have been so many of them. They did change the parasite though, to the snakelike thing on the show. In the movie it just looks like a 'grey' and is only seen just before the alien mother ship gets blown up.

I personally love everything Stargate. I like how they are trying to make it more exotic before the game comes out. Hopefully the third series won't have to pay the actors so much so they can put more into the CGI and make bigger better worlds.

Both actually, nothing to do with the actors but with CGI. If anyone seen The Quest

Youd see there is a Wyvern and theres these odd creatures that some humanoid type beings are riding in concept art. The game is going to be a MMORPG/FPS. With today's tech they're trying to make it more diverse, couldn't do that while paying the actors the big bucks though. Kinda odd that almost every planet looks like BC or a desert.... not that I don't love the show.
