Hmmmm..... Very much out of my depth on this one, but interested in your thoughts.

A theory was put forward for travelling vast amounts of Space. Whether this is a serious possibility, a theory based on calculation or a pipe dream I do not know.
I have my thoughts.

The idea being that as you would fold a piece of paper in half, the two ends essentially become the same point and destination, so you are able to move from edge to edge with minimal effort.

This is applies to space travel whereby you fold space (worm hole?).

Now I do find this a very very far fetched idea, and my brain is just not able to comprehend this idea.

Furthermore if we are held back by technology or whatever..... Then is there the possibility that a planet, black hole etc.... just appear in our solar system?

Yes this thread should appear in the UFO phenomenon, but I find this forum more serious and less flaming.

My opinion on this is something too far fetched to comprehend, and just not something that is going to happen.

Interested in having my opinion changed however.
