Hi Everybody!
We'd like to open a new department for web site design, but I know nothing about PRO graphics software. Can you tell me what software to choose and what it will cost me?
Thanks in advance for your help!

It depends which version you buy. That may be one of the professional versions?

I have always preferred jasc paint shop pro to photoshop, for my purposes it has the close enough functionality and plenty of plugins. 69.00 is a nice price-point as well. There is a fully functional 30 day demo that you can download; that is how I got hooked on it...I would give it a try...

It's quite advanced software, it's mainly intended for use by companies rather than for private use; which is why they can get away with selling it for so much.

Photoshop is definetely the best, however if you want to pay retail price to get the software legitimately, Paint Shop Pro is a much cheaper alternative.
