LOL! I am now freaked out by that story too. As you can see in my quote I said it hadn't bothered me. However..... last night as I was lying in bed I suddenly rmembered the story and worked myself into a frenzy thinking it was dragging itself into my bedroom. SO I slept with the side light on and made sure my feet weren't sticking out the bottom of the bed.
See that's what happened to me!! Everything is fine during the daytime and then night comes and I just can't get that dragging image out of my head!!
I always think it's dragging itself to look in the windows. I don't know why but that freaks me out more than anything!!Sorry for 'dragging' this story up!!

Hahaha.....maybe you should put one of those "height requirement" signs outside your door, lol......."you must be this tall to drag yourself/enter into this bedroom". Problem solved...you'll get my bill in the mail...please remit, lmao.

I apologize......I'll probably do it again later....but for now I apologize, lol. It's just the way I deal with things of that nature, takes away the edge, makes it more manageable.

The first time i went through the image gallery it was late at night, I live alone, and just to make it scarier i made sure all the lights were out...
I nearly crapped my pants I was so freaked out... but going back to it in the light of day, it wasn't that bad..

Thats funny, imagine 'it' dragging itself all the way up the stairs to then see that sign and go 'huh!?' Yep that will definately stop me getting scared from now on. Thanks. I have found a couple of mine posted a couple of years ago that seemed to have people a little scared:
