It's funny isn't it.
Technology seems to be catching up to some of our most famous authors visions of the future. I remember watching Star Trek the Next Generation. I still remember the first time I heard about Nano-probes on the show. Then, before you know it, Nano-probe technology becomes a very certain reality when it comes to scientific breakthroughs.
What I want to know, is when do we get our flying cars...Oh, and when will we get to the Star Trek like situation in regards to how we co-exist with one another. The end of greed. And yes, the ability to transfer energy to create the physical objects we require to cloth and feed ourselves. Once we have replicators and a pollution free way of traveling and sustaining ourselves, then we will begin to see our society moving towards a quantum leap in evolution. Until then we remain, at best, just above the level of intelligence of your average monkey!
Sad, but true...
