I was thinking of somethings to argue over with my friend tomorrow (we like to debate over things) and i thought of one, who would win in a fight, The Punisher or Batman? I chose Punisher, he choe Batman, so i was wondering what you thought.

I'm sorry but none of you people are giving the Punisher the respect he deserves. He is at the peak of physical condition and is highly skilled in multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat.He completed three tours of duty in vietnam and was transferred to the marine corps where he won countless commendations and medals. Also his pain threshold is unbelievably high, his ability to take pain borders on the supernatural.He has fought many of the marvel hero`s to a draw (spider-man, daredevil etc) and teamed up with the likes of the Hulk and Wolverine (after blowing wolverines face off with a shot gun then parking a steam roller on him!). So all in all I think he could deffinatly give the "capped crusader of gotham" a run for his money and failing that hes an expert sniper so could pop Bat`s off from distance, not such a girl then really is he?!
I voted Punisher for exactly the same reason, besides what is so great about a cape anyway? one can move alot faster without one and the punisher has a friggen sweet skull logo, batman just has the poorly made bat.

I think he also learned survival skills, manhunting skills(Aside from detective skills), and hypnotism. Also learned a technique that allows him to sense danger(refined instinct) and impose fear into others(Not quite The Shadow, but it works). Then there's the survival skills and ballistic knowledge.
The use of boomarangs, bolas and blowdarts.
-How to direct heat to different parts of his body.
-Healing arts.
-Stealth.
-Man hunting.
-Attended the FBI academy. Quit when he found out the law and justice aren't necessarily the same.
-he can read lips and knows sign language.
One site says he can speak over half a dozen languages fully, while he knows a dozen others to the extent that he can either understand their writing or hold a conversation.
He also learned how to lessen his need for sleep; or even meditate instead of sleeping for some time.
Then there's slight of hand. And not sure if he trained in this, but he can make use of almost anything a weapon
developed Olympic level marksmanship skills, as well as the ability to throw guns.
He also memorized the smell of various perfumes, polishes and such to heighten his detective skills.
Bruce used to treat himself with small doses of various poisons, venoms, and toxins so his immune system could develop strengths against them.
he looked at indentations of certain nails done under certain pedicures to figure out which one is which. He also memorized the smells of new aftershaves as well.
Then there was him shooting cadavers with different guns to see the wound they'd make.
And if you think that's insane, he once put himself in a simulation to see how long he'd last in a freaking VACUUM. J'onn stopped it at 24 seconds. Looked like Batman's head was about to explode.
Oh, he took out a helicopter with a mini-gun and rockets. Using a pocket knife. He was out of batarangs.
Bruce starts fighting an army of Doomsday clones by wielding an Amazonian battleaxe.
And some say Batman's not crazy...

The Punisher would probably start having crazy flashbacks or something. He's just the crazy uncle people don't like to be around because he was in Vietnam and parks steamrollers on people.

Im sorry. It was a joke. No i have not read any of the comics of either batman or the punisher so technically you are right I have no idea what I am talking about. Although I have played the Punisher game on PS2 and he is a very bad man indeed. But in fighting eachother I still say batman cause I just think he is the better of the two from what i have seen
