Ever since I started writing a dream journal I've been remembering about 5-8 dreams per night and its becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between dream and reality. Once, I remembered going to school in my dream and when i woke up i got a surprise because I thought I was in school but wtf was I doing in bed lol...

Another time I dreamed of buying a new computer game and when i woke up I immediately rushed to my computer to try out the new game and guess what I realized I was dreaming after all and I was in a bad mood the rest of the day..

There are so many incidents that I'm not gonna elaborate on all of them but i'll share a few important ones with you. Once I dreamed I had completed my homework and when I went to school the next day and the teacher asked us to show her the assignments I thought I had done it and took out the paper and It was blank! It took alot of effort to recall that I was dreaming then and I hadn't really done the homework in real life.

Nowadays I'm even asking my parents about things I never told them about in real life but I had done so in many of my dreams like asking them where they left the house key because I dreamt that I couldnt find the key and other incidents like that when the key was where it had always been...

The reason I ask is because I have sleep problems and have to take a sleep medicine and it interferes with my memory.

Why don't you stop lucid dreaming? I mean quit keeping up with your dreams for a while and let them die down a bit. See if that helps?

Good luck! thumbsup.gif

Hi 'mate'...u probably don't want to hear from me after our earlier tiff but I found this link very interesting. I think I have experienced this in the past, where I have had a really clear dream, maybe very exciting or interesting, until a point within the dream where I realised that it just cannot be real, as things are happening or I am in situations which I 'know' I wouldn't allow or do in 'real' life and at that point have been able to admit to myself it is a dream and then been able to 'control' the dream along the lines I want to go leading to amazing 'experiences' that I want to continue and then am unhappy when I actually wake up. The difference between these and what we were discussing the other day is that the other night I was 100% convinced I was awake and when I have had 'lucid' dreams I have had a long unbroken deep sleep. Maybe I was too quick to dismiss the dream thing........ hmm.gif , I just need to find a fitting explanation for the last episode... thumbsup.gif

Nope it doesn't bother me at all to hear from you. The 'mate' thing kinda gets on my nerves but I'm used to it. Glad you found the link helpful.

Well now don't you think it's time to visit a doctor or sleep clinic? Mixing up reality and dreamland can't be good for you! Good luck! thumbsup.gif

Thats all I use Myspace for. A dream journal.

A local friend of mine told me to join up on there.... and It's boring and useless for me to blog about real life situations. So I closed my Xanga account and opened the Dream & Nightmare blogs.

When I had my Xanga account I started one there a few years ago, and like previously said... my dreams seemed longer at the beginning. I think it's because you anticipate a dream and want to remember more. After a while that goes away.
