But yeah, those GBC games rocked.. the GBA ones weren't good though.

The game boy color, pokemon gold was awesome. I beat it. Got all 251 pokemon through insane training and trading; while also getting all the gym badges.

I like all of the main RPG Pokemon games. All of the stadium/colosseum games are horrible, and Pokemon XD was bad because it was based on the same system. Snap was alright, but far too short and simple. I have a Pokemon Tertris Attack-style game for the GBC, and that's good mainly because it's the same as Tetris Attack.

I really wish they'd do a real pokemon rpg on the Wii or DS.

I usually play the red/silver games, while my brother plays the blue/gold games.

I only own pokemon yellow but have manged to finish basically every other colour and will probably be buying the upcoming DS pokemon rpg(Diamond or Pearl I believe)which is to be released in Japan in Autumn.

I agree with Byuu94 on the Pokemon Stadium and other home-console pokemon games as they were all rather crappy.

The Trading Card Game was pretty fun, too. Everything after Silver and Gold was ridiculous though.

Yeah, when they first came out, I really enjoyed Pokemon games, and still do to a degree, though I never get to play it. If I had a friend that played it, I would definitely play it again, because it used to be fun seeing who could raise the best squad (usually me!). My friend would use brut strength to try to win, but I'd use tactics, to annoy. For example, I'd use one pokemon to use double team, and then baton pass to another of mine, usually Shuckle. Then, I'd have shuckle use toxic, wrap and sandstorm, and my evaisvness was so highit'd hardly ever get hit! They then used another pokemon, but my shuckle's evasivness and strength woud be maxed from baton pass, so I'd use Shuckle to take down most of his squad!

I have Pokemon Gold and Silver I still play them time to time I like it.
In fact i just started a newgame file on Pokemon Gold.

Don't forget Crystal, that one rocked too.

The DS needs a new pokemon game.

I believe 2 or 3 are coming out on the DS soon.

I have a lvl 100 weedle, it has never died, i can beat a team a lvl 100 charizard with it, it's amazing, but i maxed out all its stats, taught it the best moves it can learn and havn't played the game since i was 11. Although I did buy a gameshark... brb, ima get a blue mew, just for fun XD

My pokemon team:

Gyrados(the one that evolves from the useless fish) its a very powerful pokemon and you can get it early on. It can learn almost all abilities and tehre arent many other good water pokemon to choose from(unless you picked the turtle).

Abra(and whatever he evolves iinto i forget) another pokemon that is useless at first but becomes the best physic pokemon in the game(that can also learn almost all abilities).

Charmander-there arnt many good fire pokemon to choose from and Charizard is just badass compared to a big flower and a giant turtle.

Pikachu-another pokemon you can get early on(a rare find in the first forest area) and is one of the few electric pokemon in game.

Digtrio-nothing really too special about this guy...i just needed a ground type pokemon.

I think I'm blistering my eyes for these games. I was really angry when I found out you couldn't trade from G/S/C to R/S because of hardware limitations. What I really hate is Nintendo Event Pokemon, don't mind me, but how the hell are you meant to get these Pokemon legitimately when you live in Australia!?
