i think that its just as likely to be fake as other programs in fact saying how he says his magic isnt fake, is a unique selling point, and thus could in fact be interpreted as evidence of being fake.

by saying you are right and everyone else is wrong makes you pretty narrow minded yourself.

Criss Angel oppenly confessed he is an illusionist, not a magician. he doesnt do any real magic he just makes it look like he does

He is very fake, and he didn't just "come out of nowhere" he was a street magician for a long time before he got a show.

He's an illusionist...he doesn't claim to be real. He has even released DVD's showing how he does his tricks. And that's all they are...TRICKS.

I love Criss Angel...he's a first class illusionist, and I find his stuff to be amazing, and more entertaining then most things on TV. And that's the reason why he does that...for entertainment, and thats it.

And let's not forget the candle lit trick. Can someone find me a video where he shows how to do any of those tricks?

Just something I wanted to point out. Thousands of people have seen him perform his tricks or magic or whatever you want to call it live. I'm pretty sure someone would've been bored enough to come forward and record one of his "fake" stunts then show it to the world. And please don't bring up the levitation again.


How is this a disadvantage? The chances of his magic being real are just as good as it being fake.

anyway live stunts can be performed in such a way that it still tricks an audience, hence its called an illusion, bub. there would be no ecidence of 'foul play'. ive been on plenty of cruises where 'magicians' have performed tasks that looked amazing, however they can be explained easily.

1999 went on a cruise that i won through a piano contest, on that cruise there was a relatively famous magician, you know those local types. he performed stunts like the classics, knives in the box thing etc. the he did a levitation trick. i was pretty impressed, though i know that due to laws of physics the only way he could have done that, is to have evaded the audiences perception in a way that made it seem like he was doing it. when in doubt, use the law of gravity. levitation is impossible by a human being on his own.
