Full Version: Atheists Know Everything
Ah...childish am I? I'm just trying to defend my life's work. I'm a minister, nothing special, but my whole life and beliefs wrap around Jesus being the Christ, son of God. There's a lot of you out there who are trying to destroy that. Why? If you don't believe in God, can't you just keep that to yourself? Is this your life's work? You can fight and argue and debate against Jesus, but I stand up to defend Him and I'm being childish? Call me what you will, it doesn't bother me, but stop being a hypocrit. It's okay what everyone else says about Christ, but once I say something, I'm doing the wrong deed. You make me laugh.

All i'm saying is "live and let live"... If people decide not to beleive the same as you, that's their choice. Noone has the right to tell them they can't beleive that because it disagrees with what you beleive. and noone has the right to say a religion is. Instilling the fear of hell into others hearts is just another way of pushing your beleifs on others and preaching, which you shouldn't do.. .so it's a tad hypocritical to say "if you don't beleive in God keep it to yourself" when you bash others for not beleiving in him...

I don't care if you are a minister...to me you are just an ordinary man...who happens to preach what he believes to others that attend his church....hmmm pretty much like Buddah..appart from the church...but you seem to get things mixed up....you are a minister that shows a lil ignorance towards other faiths...how on earth does this make you a great followers and an all loving christian??
If my daughters minister was teaching her that other faiths are NOTHING..and tried to make her believe that...I would remove her from his church.....right now...her minister is safe lol...but the sec she comes home...and I ask her what did she learn at Sunday School...and out of the blue she tries to tell me other faiths are wrong...thats the end of her sunday school.....I want my lil girl to learn RESPECT...I want her to know the TRUE meaning of --- LOVE THY NEIGHBOR...something that you yourself should consider..in your lifes work

That's not me. I don't push religion on anyone, I don't use fear tactics and I never said no one can believe in Buddha. When I said he was no one, I meant he wasn't a god. He said himself he wasn't a god. You can believe in what you will, but when I come here and see an army of people here, all fighting against Christ and the bible and nobody's allowed to fight back, it's wrong. You can't be allowed to share your beliefs and thoughts and not allow me. You say Christ isn't God. I said Buddha isn't god. what's the difference in those two statements?

Trust me, you don't have a clue as to how much I love people and I NEVER judge. All people. Like I said, all I meant was that Buddha wasn't god. I have gay friends, muslims friends and the like. We are all people, God's people and are equal in His eyes. He doesn't love me more than He loves the prostitute. I'm not important, all I was saying was that God is my life.

no one said buddha was god, kf god is your life that great for you, but you dont have to say other people religion are nothing, i know you when you sai buddha is nothing you just ment he wasnt god, but not everyone here believes in god, myself included, there are people of many different faiths here,Christian,Atheist,Muslim,etc. And no one here fights against Christianity, we just dont believe in it, thers a big difference between no beliving it, and making fun of it

it's not that I ignore it. It's because I look at the news and see starving children dying in africa, war in iraq (in the name of God i might add), death, hatred, inequality and exclusion, and I have come to the basic conclusion that God doesn't exist, or at least not the 'loving God' that christians make him out to be

But that wasnt an issue SAUCY...the issue was..you said that Buddah was a nobody...and your reasons where...that because others have made claims saying the God you believe in does not exist ..and for some mad strange reason...you tried to tell me that i said Jesus does not exist...where you got that idea from is beyond me...you must have forgotten that this board happens to be - spirituality V'S Skeptisim...meaning.....there will be skeptics posting ...

I realize that you feel sorry for them, so do I. I question Gods decisions all the time. But I don't blame him for everything bad that goes on in the world. Who knows what God wants. We can never understand him fully.
