My dad's friend bought an old army truck as his new "toy" the other day. The truck's windshield has an authentic little sticker saying "Authorized For Area 51." Do you think you could still use it, if so, that would be SOOO awesome.
MJB222
He probably needs identification also. And still no, if they were selling it then they probably are using a new model now and won't let you in.

Well, from what my Dad says of visiting the Groom Lake facility (Area 51), you need to show your military ID & paperwork to prove why you are there and then get a new id just for inside when you are there. Even though my Dad had top level security clearance, he still had an "aide" (guard) walking around with him everywhere when he was there.

Of course, this was years ago. Probably changed to MORE security now.

I live on an Air Base and we have to show military ID to get on. yes.gif

Well, growing up, my Dad always had the USAF sticker on the car and when we went tax-free shopping at the BX & comissary, the guards would see the sticker and salute him on through (we thought is was so cool back then). But we were hardly going somewhere top secret original.gif

Well there is always the direct approach. mellow.gif

Your dad's friend could try driving into area 51 yes.gif

Then if he gets in fine GREAT thumbsup.gif

But if he gets arrested and bundled away never to be seen again OH CRAP no.gif

But atleast you would get your answer lol tongue.gif

What we need to do is like hijack about 10 bullet proof trucks, hook them up with live cameras, then drive into Area 51 and film all we can get! grin2.gif
fallingalien
what we need to do is make a remote control UFO and fly around and shoot stuff off of it so they attack and while they're busy we sneak in and find the bad guy so they could call us meddling kids.

You should try going in with someone in the military, as they would be able to show ID. But the people at the gate would probably want to know
why you're going in, and they'd want to see a clearance. no.gif

You still have to have a current ID sticker on your vehicle. And yes they do expire. yes.gif

This isn't mystery men, so unless you have super rage, super fork-throwing powers, super bowling powers, super-invisibility, super-shoveling, or super-farting powers, I don't think you're getting in even with bullet proof trucks. Because you need to have at least one of those powers if you think you're going into area 51, everyone knows that.

I am always fascinated with Area-51, and yes I am in the military myself, but when I got enought bravery to ask about it, they said "It didn't exist", and when I showed them a printed off map of Area 51, they gave me some random name "Stricdlin Airbase" I believe they said... And told me to report back to my instructor with some paperwork. Which I personally believe was fake just to get me to leave sad.gif

Oh yes, and another point, check that truck for ANY small foreign objects, or dust which seems unusual, it may be bits of a lost experiment or another bit of Area 51 which I would go insane about if I found one.
Hmmm, I always want to apply for a job there, but I don't see where to do it or who to ask, in all my sergeant's eyes it doesent exist, or so they say...
I guess I will keep trying until I magically disappear or fly away in a UFO no.gif

Look, let's face facts....your not getting in...I'm not getting in...and anything that comes out in the way of information will be delt with one way or another...don't tire yourself with speculation...you'll give yourself a bigger headache than you most likely already have.

Does it look like this?

Conspiracy.....I am really confused at your posts...What branch of the military are you in?..And what is your rank?...." Groom Lake " is not a "secret" anymore. It was at one time , but the government does not hide it now.As for stickers on cars/trucks....There are hundreds of these "novelty" parking stickers sold.No personal vehicles allowed in the base , come on people , look at facts and easy to find information first....All workers at Groom Lake are bused in ,and/or flown in on Governemnt issued planes/buses....And for the kid who posted about getting in with armored cars ( I know ,why am I even answering) , try getting into a medium security prison , than think about a Top Goverment facility.....lol...This is to funny...

First off, you are Russian, correct? I am not sure if your militairy knows much about it, the Americans seem to be pretty secrative when it comes to this. Secondly, are you Army, Navy, or Air Force? The Army and Navy officers probably don't know or don't care about it, while the Airforce officers would probably be more touchy on it.

How will you hijack 10 bullet proof trucks? And more importantly is that anything bulletproof usually have a weaker bottom to reduce weight. Meaning, an explosive on the ground, you are usually toast. Also, they probably have bigger and better toys. Also, I do not think anything is 100% bulletproof.

And if suceed, you will just see an Airforce and will die for it too. thumbsup.gif

or we can use the alternate route to get in

I would think you would need a high level security clearence to get in and not just a sticker. So no you wouldn't. As far as I know the only things they have at Aera 51 is secret military aircraft that is being tested.
