As for my views, since you asked:

T.V. and hotline psychics, with their inscents and colorful clothes, all that jewelry and those cards, no. I wouldn't waste my time even watching someone ELSE call in, let alone blow my cash on them.

That's the only kind of psychic I know. Are you also meaning to include ones that perform telekinesis, telepathy, ect? I believe in them, yes. Not the proffessionals though, for some reason. They all just strike me as illusionists.

Maybe one of them should get really good at telekinesis and strike me telekinetically!

i fink some ppl have a natural power but its very rare and to many ppl make it up to get attention

Some are bad some are good....But don't waste your money or time on these hotlines.

i think t.v. psychics should seriously reconsider what they do and say b/c for those who dont know much about the subject every word the person says on tv. seems true to them...or most who are watching!

hah i called one of those hotlines one time just for fun, they asked me what my name and age were and i just simply said that if they were psychic like they say they are then they would be able to tell me my name and age... then they hung up.

The people who claim to be psychic always (in my experience) are nothing more then very good coldreaders and body language readers. They mix a bit of Showmanship in for good effect as well.

I wouldn't waste your time with them, you can learn to do it yourself for the price of a couple of decent books. Make yourself a hell of a lot of money too. Which strikes me as convenient.

i completally agree, spend ur cash on a good book in the subject (keaword GOOD book, not a pice of crap).

It is not like I TRY to let people sway my opinion too much, but the people on this site make me feel like I am a stupid, ignorant teenager who thinks that a spiritual journey of personal growth is a fad. It makes me want to cry how some people have such twisted views on how people should live their lives; I mean, is it not someone's choice to be happy and ignorant than to be truthful, yet miserable?

Sometimes I think it's the power of guess... the kind of cloths you wear, and what your mobile looks like wich tells alot about a person.

You need to come up with your very first instinct on the topic, and go off from there. If you have a tendency to believe some of it and don't believe some of it, it doesn't matter what you label yourself.
The terms "believer" and "skeptic" are so wide, expansive and relative that my advice to you would be to separate yourself as far as possible from both labels.

ericraven, you really ought to look up the definition of skeptic. After you understand what it means to be skeptic you should look up pseudoskeptic. When you understand that term you will know what you are.

Thanks for your wonderful insight. It must come from your psychic side. When your psychic power can be dupiclated through scientific protocol over and over by scientists that have nothing to gain. Then and only then will I believe. I ask you to submit your all powerful self to a true scientist for testing. Thanks for your concern, wabbit.

You people are starting to tick me off... I don't believe in all things psionics, but I do believe in a lot of it. All you people that come on here and just say that psionics doesn't exist. I'll tell you why I know it exists - because me and countless others across the internet have tried it, and it worked has worked time and time again. The psionic community is growing everyday. Every day that I log onto UPC (United Psionics Club), there's at least 2 new users. You keep saying that our opinions have no proof. But what proof do you have that psychic abilities don't exist? Many people used to say that space travel isn't possible, but now it is. Just go onto psipog, and read their manipulation articles, and give it some practice... Of course, the only way it will work is if you believe you can do it.

I don't worship psions, nor do I expect other people to worship me. I've already said that people with psionic powers are no better than people with psionic powers. And being a psion does not make someone a "magician".
