I have to say that i'm not a big fan of 3rd party controllers. But I have bought a few for PS2.

Mad Catz deluxe was my first 3rd party controller... and it was horrible. Broken right out of the box. I got another one and it took all of 2 weeks for the vibration to break on the next.

I managed to bump into The Phoenix controller after that. Great job, cheap, and works well. I reccomend it highly. For some reason it feels a bit smaller then the PS2, but fits well in the hands. Today I got a Mad Catz "Retrocon" just because it was 2 bucks new.... thought I would give it a shot. Although the top shoulder buttons are a bit close it works decent and the gimmick lighting sort of freaks me out.

Anybody have 3rd party controllers?
Like em at all? Or do you just stick with originals.

I hate them.
There always seem to be problems with the ones I buy.
Must just be me.

All my mates playstation 2 ones break well before official ones. I myself haven't bothered buying a 3rd party controller since my sega Mega Drive one stopped working a decade ago. tongue.gif
