It was actually a widespread problem across northeastern USA and central Canada, and was caused by chemicals in fertilizers which acted as synthetic genes, modifying the "grow limbs" command in the frog DNA, caused extra or malformed legs. There's an excellent book about it called "A plague of frogs" by William Souder. Well worth picking up.

In the story I'm talking about, the frogs' eggs' shells were super thin, which allowed UV rays in, and mutated the frogs the way you decribed.

I just can't remember what caused the shells to be so thin.

no offense because you may not do this but alot of people do show proof but most skeptics don't believe it and say its a trick,and i can't invite you over
