I am seeing people reference how much they are spending on parts and it makes me cringe! There are a couple places I shop online that are (so far) safe and cheap and I thought I'd start a thread where we could compare good and not so good experiences. I hope this is ok, mods. My intention is to save myself and others money and bad experiences while shopping online thumbsup.gif

My top favorite site to buy computer parts online would be . They are search friendly and they put the specs of each product out there in a way that's easy to find. I've ordered probably a dozen products and never had a problem. I got this one from the owner of the shop where I work. He has gotten a few faulty motherboards but considering he's ordered somewhere in the neighborhood of a couple hundred from them "a few" bad mobos isn't too bad!

Another favorite is. I haven't bought quite as much from them but they do seem to carry a larger variety. Sometimes I can find the same things at newegg for cheaper but alot of times they have higher end equipment than ****** carries. I have ordered a half dozen times from them with no problems.

Where do you shop? Have you had experiences with these websites, and if so good or bad?

Sorry, Episteme, but I'm not real keen on this idea. I understand your intention, only the thread would still be linking web sites that sell a product or service not authorized by the webmaster. In other words, free advertising for others to a rather large community with no benefits to the person who has spent a great deal of his own time and money developing. More importantly, this is an international forum, the companies you mention are based in the US, only Americans would benefit from it, see what I mean?
