Full Version: Acceptance ... do we have acceptance?

In my opinion we all see "phenomena" and its proofs in our own levels. So why is that we can’t accept it to be real? The day we can push our minds into seeing that "phenomena" is not really the creativities invention of a mad mans mind but something more than that.

Long ago if you told someone the earth was round he would have said you are mad, reason being that the knowledge you present is far beyond the understanding at that point.

"Phenomena" could be just like that...

I would say it can't be accepted because a majority of people have not observed it and the minority apparently thinks that they are too good to do it in front of a camera, either that or they are lying for attention. ph34r.gif

Question 2 should have a third option: "I don't believe in "phenomena".

Because now either option you choose will make it seem like you belive that "phenomena" exists.

Also, this poll doesn't really reflect acceptance. It reflects belief. Acceptance or lack of it can only exist if the thing to be accepted is real.

Most people have not experienced it because it doesn't exist. I think only a small percentage of those who claim to have "powers" are lying. Most of them actually believe in their stuff.

Gee Wombat, this explains why you are always in the dark. Light is a phenomena.

I agree that it doesn't exist, but I believe that most of them are lying rather than a comparatively small amount.

LOL, I laughed at that comment of ImOne....

Well, looks like the poll gives a resounding 'no' so far....
Megalomania
Phenomena won't be included in science - because I don't think anyone will just say "It happens because it happens"
I do believe that if it exists, there will be scientific reasoning behind it.

Seriously badly worded poll questions is all I can say. Polite way of saying stupid.

What phenomena, all of it? Phenomena is a generic term. A poll should be specific.
Pick a phenomenon.

1. Science has been investigating phenomena for a long time.
2. Logical reasoning..., again, which phenomena, pick a phenomenon.
3. See answer to 2.

If the word in the poll was 'paranormal', we'd be getting a little warmer.
