Yeah, Marduk, I meant that the story of Lilith (aspiring to be an equal to another being, getting busted and being banished, seeking revenge) closely mirrors that of Christianity's Satan/Lucifer. All humor aside, this "episode" is quite telling of the Freudian subconscious of the village elders and church leaders who wrote about it -they transferred their fear unto her and made her a good scapegoat. Kind of makes you wonder about her perspective regarding the whole thing.

but in truth adam and lilith were one joined creature. ADAMLILLITH had the one body with features of both male and female. adamlilith was a hermaphrodite, and then god realising his error seperates the entity into two bodies.
In the original story its about 3 seconds after she is given a body Lilith leaves Adam and the garden starting a new tradition amongst females that has survived to this day
And god didn't throw her out. She called God by his secret name which forced him to let her go.

So in the original tale you have a strong minded female and a god who isn't all powerful and all knowing. Little wonder that Catholicism edited it.
This is also the reason that Hermaphrodites are regarded as sacred amongst judaic tradition.
