Most of the time the reply button works fine, but once in a while clicking reply takes me to a blank screen rather than the reply box. I've tried everything to reply to this post, but it looks like I'm going to be forced to cut'n'paste.

Normall I don't get too worried about this, but this topic is a formal debate, and quite frankly, I don't like the look of quotes when they read like:

QUOTE(Aero_dynamic)
Yep, this is the quote stuff

For the record, here are the pages in question:

The blank screen (maybe you won't be able to access this screen because it should be my response screen

The topic I'm replying to (if you click reply to Aero_dynamic's last post and you reach a reply screen, you've done better than me).

edit: I just tried it on my brother's computer with similar results.
double edit: and the same results are in after logging in as a different user.

Remember, it's a formal debate, so don't reply to the post itself if you reach it.

Thanks in advance guys thumbsup.gif

Nope, doesn't work for me either in that instance. Works everywhere else in the forum though.

THat's what I mean. It only doesn't work on some posts. I can even quote the post right above this one. This is the third or fourth time I think it's happened to me since I've been here. Most of the time, I just use quote tags and ignore it, but I don't like that layout (personal preference, I guess).

Anyone know how to fix it?

Saru
It's because he had an error in his own quote tags, which was preventing the forum from being able to quote the existing quote.

I've fixed the tags in his post, try replying to it now. thumbsup.gif
