Did any one else watch the pilot episode for Kyle XY?

Or have any theories about the show?

I think that Kyle is either a test tube baby, an extra terrestrial, or a genetic experiment. However I will have to watch all of the upcoming episodes so that one of my theories can either jell or fall apart.

I watched it. I thought it was pretty wicked.

I'm guessing he is some sort of test subject.

This show does remind me a lot of 'John Doe' a couple years ago. If they cut off this show like they did that one, I'm going to be next to up in arms.

I have never heard of or seen 'John Doe' but I am guessing that it was good.

I liked it a lot...it bugged me that john Doe got cancelled without a chance to wrap things up and tell people what the deal was...

btw, the actor that plays Kyle(supposedly 16'ish) is actually 24 years old...

Yeah, I know... Just wrong. I looked, it was over 3 years ago actually when the last John Doe aired.

I was wondering about that. He looks a bit older. I was thinking about 18/19 though.

I enjoyed it. I think possibly a clone. no belly button, huh. I wonder though what the deal with the murder will be.

I watched the show and enjoyed it very much. So glad they finally put something on tv that my husband and I can both watch and enjoy.
I tried watching John Doe and for some reason just couldn't get into it much. This show seems much better imo.

ahh. it was a fantastic episode too. intense.

[spoiler]Like just the entire acting of missing Kyle was killing me slowly. I was near begging them to bring back the flip side story with Kyle.

Then the sniper part... You're telling me that a sniper who can shoot a man in the heart cannot also termitate Kyle in the same postition? Kyle stood there like an idiot while giving the sniper the ideal kill zone in the back of the head and he wasn't shot at? Insanity![/spoiler]

Yea, it wasn't as good as the first season, but you have to admit that it was a good starter. Did a nice job of explaining everything so that people who just started watching could get hooked onto it.

[spoiler]As for the sniper part, I dunno, I personally thought that they wanted to bring him back alive. Maybe they hoped that by killing off Adam then Kyle would be easy to capture and take back to Zyzzx. Then they could figure out how to make the one girl who's like Kyle better.

And the part with the Nicole worrying so much seemed a bit unnecessary. It just was like the producers didn't want to just ignore the family for that episode, so they made up a stupid story for it.

However, one thing that I'm loving, lack of product placement. I didn't see one bag of sour patch kids in the entire show, as opposed to every episode last season [/spoiler]
