to me it's Egyptian mythology
Again, why isn't the Bible mythology. You totally skirted the question, like most people do...
What many people fail to realize is that they believe in something only because of it's popularity. Ra is thousands of years before Jesus. And there are so many parallels with the Egyptian stories and the Christian ones, people don't realize that there are many pagan ideas in the Bible. And yet pagans are shunned at times. I suggest you read some books on the material.

I was concerned about Yahweh and now have just learned that Yahweh was believed to be the worlds creator.
You don't seem to know too much on the subject, but the letters of God's ancient name in Latin letters is IHVH. Very similar to the Egyptian HUHI, divine name (before the Tetragrammaton) and both have interchangeable letters.

The egyptians have some imagination
And the Bible could easily be a work of imagination, given that some of the books were based on dreams and nightmares that people had (Revelation, Daniel, etc) Not only that, but at the time the Bible was written pious fiction was gaining popularity.
And why written in third person? It would be much more practical if it was written in first.

And another thing, the Egyptians did in fact worship Ra, but I'm guessing you knew that already.
