Last summer a lot of things happened to me and my friends, and I have a strong suspicion things will be acting up again. First, I live in Des Moines, Iowa. Iowa is generally boring and a lot of teenagers make up stuff, because they are generally bored. So I am skeptical about everything I will talk about, I'm even skeptical about what I have personally experienced.
Second, I'm only 17, and some of the people I'll talk about are 13-19.

It began with a game. My ex-friend, we'll call her Rose, started telling me lies about a secret magical organization, blah blah blah. She then began reading Anne Rice books that she borrowed from me, and tried to get me to believe Lestat de Lioncourt was real. *le sigh* She did convince a few other people, and I that is the whole reason a few of these things happened.
The first thing that was big for me, was when Rose and her boyfriend were trying to pull some "Oh Rose got attacked" stunt in the backyard, I was in the front yard waiting for them to stop being retarded. I was petting her dogs, and I looked up at the side of the house. There was a shadow of a person with short hair. I had short hair, and moved my head side to side to make sure it was my shadow. It wasn't. I moved my hand. The shadow did nothing. It stood there on or by the side of the house, where it really shouldn't have been. I looked around me in every direction. No one was there.
I was taking summer school at the time, so the next Monday I saw my friend "Nicole" and told her about the shadow I had seen. She got really excited, and told me about a dream she had had recently, about a cloaked figure in her room. It goes like...she goes to bed, wakes up the instant she falls asleep, lights are on and there is a cloaked figure. She talks to him/her/it for a while, (she doesn't remember what about, but she says she felt completley comfortable and kind of cheerful) and then asks "So, where do you come from?" and then it dissapears. She wakes up.
This dream becomes very important after the next two happenings.
Back at Rose's house, there were like 7 of us kids. Now, there is this big deserted yellow house that has just almost been completely ruined. And it's really creepy. Now, I had been in it a few times before, but now Rose wanted all our other friends to see it. So we started going in pairs of two's/three's. There is a lot of crap about vampires and stuff Rose still has to talk about, but "Jane" and "Tom" are still sort of christian, and what happened freaked them out. The first group goes up to the house, comes back. Jane is crying about seeing a little girl in a rocking chair and the light was on. Now, there is no electricity in that house, so says the contractors papers in the kitchen, and there is a pink room upstairs with the name of Jamie stenciled on the door with some gothic looking stupid crap. So yeah, I'm interested. "Stacey", Tom and me go up to the house next. Tom is freaking out and so I didn't get a good look inside, but I did see there was light in the house. When we get back to Rose's house, I invite my friend "Robert" over and me and him go into his truck and I discuss the things that have been going on. He reveals to me that he knows a lot about this sorts of things already, and starts talking about hunting werewolves and his witch cousin. It all sounds a bit silly, and I didn't really believe him until recently (may comment on that later), but he told me of two encounters with what he called "shades". The first happened a few years back, he got attacked pretty badly. I don't really remember the details cuz I was kinda like "yeah right" the whole time. He then described to me another attack, and told me what I should and shouldn't do around these Shades. He told me his cousin was an outcast and gave me more that needed information on her and the magic she had taught him. So yeah, point is, Robert knew about Shades.
A few months later, my other friend, who goes to the same school as Nicole, "Josh" called and told me about a dream he had had that was simmilar to Nicole's. Nicole and him had talked about it previously, but I can be almost certain he wasn't lying with things I found out after. (eep this is getting really long!!). So its basically the same...he goes to bed kind of scared cuz he thought he saw something in his doorway, then falls asleep under the covers. Wakes up and the lights are on, he's talking to two cloaked figures, and there is a dark figure in the doorway (a shade?). He remembered everything he talked to them about (he's always been good at dream diarys and stuff) and he felt comfortable with them, like Nicole did, talking about the Coheed and Cambria concert he was going to. Then he finally asks, "So, what are you guys doing in my room?" and they reply with "We're going to destroy the human race". Then they take off their cloaks, and I'm told the following description...tall, almost anorexic, bald, pale, NO EYES...then his sister walks in the room and asks Josh who he's talking to. But before he can answer, the now uncloaked figures turn around, look at her, and without saying a thing she walks away. He woke up the next morning, asked her, and she didn't remember seeing or doing anything.
I called up two people about this. Rose's boyfriend and Robert. Rose's boyfriend freaked out and tried telling me they were a creature called "Slain" and he had been attacked by one before. I didn't really believe him, mostly because of the stupid name "Slain", so I called up Robert. Now, Robert's cousin recently and had left him all her spell books and what not. Kind of funny that she dies so shortly after I am told about her, but anyways, he looks through and corrects "Slain" with "Sloun" and tells me more about what they look like, what they do, and how to avoid them.
So far there have been no more talk of Slouns. But there have been talks from people I met in my first semester of Japanese. There is this one kid, Cisco, who claims to be part of some kind of coven, and can fuse with demons. He claims to know how to hunt and kill Shades, and other things I've never heard of before, and don't remember at this moment. Then there is this kid Jeff, he USED to be part of some crazy coven type thing, and has been through a lot of crazy stuff, but since me and Jeff don't get along so well (wtk...) I probably will never know about anything that did happen to him.
So I would like to know (FINALLY) more about these shades and sloun thingys. I've done some research and read some things up on "Shadow People" and what not, but I have not found ANYTHING on demons called Sloun, and that worries me. Especially since July-October is when most of this stuff happened last year, and I've been sensing something close by for a week now...

I think these people are pulling your leg. There are loads of threads about shadow people on here but as far as the demons I've never heard of that particular type. It kind of sounds like they are talking about an online game world type thing.

Yeah, I heard from someone Sloun was a type of monster is some type of game, but the dreams really are kind of weird. I forgot to talk about the second dream Josh had. He's never been in that yellow house, but he called me up back in like May telling me about a strange dream he had about him and a friend (he didn't know and couldn't really see his friend) in a big house sleeping on the porch. Then they got woken up by this guy he thinks was a vampire or something. They run upstairs and something something something find documents and an envelope thats filled with Ash. Are being chased by vampire guy, hid in shed in the backyard, and the vampire drives off in a big truck. He said stuff about the porch and the dining room and things, and I started asking him "what color was the carpet" "was the kitchen to the right or the left of the dining room" and he began describing the yellow house. Him nor Nicole have ever been there, even though I've offered to take them there.
Oh and god I'm forgetting. Before this me and robert went up to the house by ourselves and checked it out without loud people (rose). He claims to have a second sight thingy and saw different furniture and stuff. The same furniture he told me about when we were there was included in Josh's dream, and he also described a big tree in the back. There is a big tree stump in the backyard of that house.

Now I know Robert and Josh have never and probably will never meet. Rob is already in college, and Josh is usually a lot of busy or a lot of grounded. So yeah, just one more thing...

Well what is your take on it? Do you believe that they are sighted?

Um...I guess I believe that Josh is pretty good with dreams and details. And I have talked to Robert recently after his graduation...I belive him now about everything he told be back then, and that's a lot of stuff to type here (I think I typed quite a bit above...heh) so I really want to believe them about everything. I'm not sure if it was a vampire, and I'm still trying connect the house with the shade and the sloun...when I find out if the demons with no eyes are called sloun or not...

Over active imagination. Some people can influenciate others easily.

Sloun sounds more like a persons name . And it doesn't sound like a vampire & it's very unlikely that it was a demon . I'm thinking more apperition if anything . Especially how it appears in dreams . And chill . All this doesn't state that this thing is necesarily "bad", sounds more curious .
