In 1964 a french photographer photographed a huge animal that looks like a giant snake or tadpole in Queensland, Australia.
One day a carcass of an unknown animal was found in Queensland and it had some similarities to the one photographed in 1964, can they be the same?
I wanna post a pic, but I don't know how to do this, can anyone tell me how? (Please don't flame me for that).

Click the Insert Image button (it looks like a small picture of a tree) and enter the URL. Should work

CRAP! They said the format of the image must be GIF, so I changed HTML from the end of the URL to GIF and it didn't work, help me please! That's what happens when you don't understand a SH** about computers. I need to find a way to post this pic.

Try to attach it as a file instead, or if you have a link to the page you could insert the link by clicking on the button that looks like a globe.

What, the bush baby!? They're really cute little animals.
Anyhoo, this story always seems to draw my attention; I think it's brilliant. Heard so many things though, like it was a hoax etc. I'm sure there's a thread that goes into it in more detail though. Some crazy stuff!

"Bushmonster" seems a more appropriate name for that abomination than "bushbaby."

maybe it's an Aye-aye in retrospect... Some sort of odd-looking proto-primate.

It's actually a Philippine tarsier, it's one of the smallest primates related to lemurs and bushbabies, and incredibly endangered. Aye-aye's are incredibly cool too though, also endangered because of superstitions. There's more info about tarsiers here

aha! Tarsiers are great wee critters!

Shame about some folk's (in my opinion rather small-minded and badly outdated) superstitions. I've read about these, and seen some programmes too. So sad because they're totally harmless. Not to mention cute as a button!

Yeah I know I just thought it was comedic timing for a bit of a laugh. Well you said about it not moving, but then it is a picture. Sure the guy doesn't look as if he knows about it. Although there is a lot of controversy over it, it's never been proven a hoax. The simple point is that, although we can formulate guesses, and really well thought-out theories on it, we just don't know what the Hell it is. It cousle be a shoal of fish, but we don't know for certain, because it could just as easily be something else. Hell it could be the stranded larva of a race giant interstellar saltwater frogs for all we know. OK so maybe that's a bit OTT, but you catch my drift. It's still a very iconic picture though.

I agree the superstitions are very stupid and it's very sad that they're endangered because you're right, they are harmless and they are incredibly cute!

And yet, the small-minded folks as you said, believe the superstitions

Here is the other thread. Looks like the picture has been touched and reversed.
Although possible it could bve a schooling swarm of small saltwater catfish, to me it just looks fake. The water doesn't look qute right on the darkened edges. The shape of it (monster taddpole?), the fact the fellow n the boat is not at all bothered by it's presence and the fact that it was "photographed" by a con man who was broke and planned to make a bundle out of
guess what..............................
a Sea Monster scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the real scenario, either incredible coincidence or amazing irony.
My guess is fake. Very Fake. More likely Elmo is redheaded bigfoot.

It looks a lot like a 'ball' of Saltwater Catfish as they are called, very right, psyche.
And the geographic area fits it quite well.
Maybe the original picture was touched up to look that way.

Please keep this in mind...look again at the photo, which direction is the animal's (allegedly sea serpent) head is heading to? Judging by the distance, camera angle and the possible height, the person on the boat must be photographed from a stilt, boat or bridge. Given the angle to view such distance from such height, the photographer could've warned the guy on the boat to move away, since the shadow of the great and unknown animal is approaching. Unless, the photographer is a meany guy that uses his friend as a monster bait!
Therefore, I conclude this phot as a HOAX. Hoaxes are always have a very sharp feature on it's photographs, I'm talking about the pictures are very blant and you can see the hoax very clear, I mean...too clear to be a sudden and unplanned photographic piece of evident:(

Thing is, everyone moans about blurry photographs, and that they don't show anything. Then when a crystal clear one comes along, it's automatically written off as a hoax. Face it, us Cryptozoologists are never happy
