LONDON (Reuters) - Women going on boozy nights out have been warned by police to "wear nice pants" in case they fall down drunk in the street.

A Suffolk police safety campaign magazine shows pictures of young women slumped on the ground next to messages urging them: "If you've got it, don't flaunt it."

"If you fall over or pass out, remember your skirt or dress may ride up," the magazine says. "You could show off more than you intended -- for all our sakes, please make sure you're wearing nice pants and that you've recently had a wax."

Readers are also told to stick with friends, book a taxi home and watch the amount they drink.

Police said the Safe! magazine's gossipy, tongue-in-cheek style was designed to alert young women to the dangers they could face if they get drunk during a night out.

"We need to raise their awareness of potential problems," said Chief Superintendent David McDonnell. "They become more vulnerable whilst under the influence of alcohol."

In my opinion women of BMI <30 and aged between 18 and 30 should wear short cotton skirts and low cut tops, whilst dispensing with bras and pants.

With Summer well under way in the Northern hemisphere, these measures will reduce the chance of over-heating and fatigue whilst providing free entertainment for us poor blokes that are not allowed to wear shorts in bars!

Your female co-operation on this matter is welcomed.

Something tells me everyone's going to do the exact opposite. Just a guess.

Does the type of woman that passes out dead drunk in the street really care if her business is on display? Hmmm... Is she ever going to remember if some snuck a peek or not?

Good point.

That's the kind of girl that needs to have good, sober mates with her to keep her out of trouble!! yes.gif

Do these women think to use some basic common sense before they go out drinking?
I mean, it's almost as if they want this to happen. It's their own fault that these things
happen if they're not going to bother to control themselves.

So if a man does it do you feel the same? Is it okay for a man to go out and lose control but not a woman? hmm.gif

No, it isn't okay. Anyone who drinks so much that they loose absolute control like
that deserves what they get.

Difference is a drunk lass will get help off blokes on the pull and female passer bys. Police will aid etc etc etc....
A bloke that is drunk is instantly fined £80 in the UK or faces the fine and a night in the cell.

I reckon the statement from Robert1 is taking into account what outfit the person is wearing, and not the sex of the person. Just so happens the majority of skirt wearers are female.
