Yes, I've seen that video. Very clever, no idea how he did it. One thing that we do know is that he did not walk through a window; just wish I knew how he did that!

Thats really weird. How did he do that. Well I believe people can do anything if the set their mind to it so I guess its possible. Good for him that was amazing.

The link goes to a site that doesn't have the video; at least, I couldn't find it. I can't read whatever language that is.

Hmmm. I saw a man climb through a piece of paper. Despite the fact that he was knocking on the 'glass' just previously, I don't think he climbed through the glass. It doesn't actually show him climbing through the glass, just a piece of paper over the area where glass used to be. But still very interesting.

Its impressive as it is, without the glass it would be staggaring. I can understand him not wanting to give his secrets away but wouldnt he get more respect if he removed all doubt?
Anyway if its fake how did he fake it?

hi hi hi paper never ripped all the way

Notice the guy in the white shirt by the door. He is never asked to go inside, but when the guy places the paper on the window at first the guy in white quickly go in and comes back out(maybe initiating the illusion)//and about 85 or so seconds in, the magician is talking to the camera and is about to go inside...notice man in white is anticipating too soon and makes a move inside(like they practiced) but stops, he realizes the guy isn't ready and--then goes in -in front of magician anticipating entire trick? Obviously, man in white is the key to the illusion.

I have a few things to point out.. some might have already been brought up.
#1: Why does that white guy have to remain inside the place while he does his illusion? Why not remain with the rest of the crowd outside? (because hes assisting of course)
#2: Yes whats with the paper.. He can walk through glass right? Why does the paper rip and the glass not break? I'm assuming he can only magically walk through glass and not paper.
#3: Why does he have to come out through the paper part of the window? All illusion.

I beg to differ, everyone says its fake but they dont know how? Well that means (IMHO) he walked through the glass using the paper to protect his methodology which is obviously what is annoying the people who say it was fake?!

No, we know how but we don't post those links out of respect for the magicians. Mod MagicMan already had to delete one link someone put up explaining illusions.

I thought the video was pretty cool. What I don't understand is why some people
can't accept the entertainment value of his tricks. It's just entertainment after all.
Criss Angel is an excellent illusionist, but there's nothing paranormal about what he does.
Why does he need the paper? He needs it so you can't see how the trick is done.
Am I the only one who understands this?

The whole thrill of 'magic' is not trying to figure out how it's done but rather believing in and letting your mind open to the possibility of the supernatural. Angel will admitt himself that there's an explanation behind all of his 'tricks', but that's not really the point, is it?

Ok, so I have a theory of how one could do this using normal means and normal materials.
The steps:
step 1: install a special window pane (this is all there is to the trick i will elaborate in the second section)
step 2: install an open sign attached to the wall to look as though it's on the window
step 3: find 3 people to help with the trick.
step 4: have 2 of them hold a piece of paper lightly against the glass. (these might not necessarily be assistants. I'm not sure)
step 5: have the remaining one be a good actor and look surprised (he's the one who's inside as the "shop keeper")
step 6: move the window and after some theatrics climb through letting the window fall back into place as you exit completely.
The Window:
The glass of this window is actually larger than the window itself. It extends into the wall below the actual opening. In this case, probably about 2.5 or 3 feet. In the part of the glass hidden by the wall there is a hole which the magician will climb out of. He then pushes the window up into a place where he can climb through easily. The paper is here to hide this until the magician has completed his acting. As he finishes climbing through, the window's weight pushes it back into its original state.
I'd like to hear opinions on whether one could actually implement this or not.
