does anyone have any info regarding the above topic?

So true, so true. My two year old son wants to stay up until 4am watching Star Wars and the Lion King.
yeh i know were your coming from, i have 2 myself, but you missed the point, are there any scientific studies on it?
Well, I figured sleep deprivation was diagnosed as Insomnia. Could be wrong. I don't really know why there would be a scientific study about it. It usually happens to me (or anyone else I know) when I've got alot on my mind. Although I guess there are people who can't sleep for unknown reasons.

Gushhh.....I can't sleep at night,,that is my problem,i dont know why...but i just can't sleep.Normaly i will start to sleep when it began to morning,like 5am or 6ami have try many method to get sleep early ,but it just wont work..
i read somewhere that if you run you hands under ice-cold water just before bedtime, then stick them under your arms,( once your in bed) all your blood goes to the hands, so empties your head, and you fall fast asleep, i do'nt know if it works, but it's worth a try

I hope you have thought about talking to your doctor about that, isanguard. You can't have sweet dreams until you go to sleep.

I wish my little 'un was interested in something like Star Wars, I'm stuck with the 3 am taped Tweenies and Balamory!

Just a couple years back, before my grandmother was diagnosed with insomnia, I thought it was a mental problem...

Used to stick with that too the last time around,now I have to go to bed at least 3 am. (Well at least I'm trying
)
Hmmm, I guess if you can't find a way to get to sleep earlier, you could always get a late night job.... and if you can't get a late night job, you should build a makeshift shed of somesort with no windows, and a temperature control right next to your bed. If you get to hot, cool it down, you get to cold turn it up. (I personally would also suggest installing a disco ball, a large plasma screen T.V., and a small refridgerator!)
