It looks like a bees nest gone rotten or one of those gas masks.

the gas mask thing is something I noticed also.
still think it most likely just the play of light on the trees..but it does make for an interesting conversation piece.

Well, it’s not looking past a tree, or around a tree, but seemingly superimposed on a tree limb. So it looks like something’s been hung on there. I stick to my first assumption - someone has hung a alien Halloween mask on a twig! whistling2.gif

i agree with the play of light on the tree's

Doesn't really look like much of anything to me.

is it only me or does it look like a raccoon? i dunno *shrugs* maybe its just me..

The big "eyes area" looks like the back of a hiker with one of those big backpacks that carries sleepingbags and stuff. Or maybe it's a alien poking its head out at ya.
sfj21
To me it looks like the back of a man, hands in jacket pockets, head hunched over. sasmokin.gif

Hey I'm no expert , but when looking at that picture, the words "El chupacabra " come to mind. blink.gif Maybe its just me.

I agree with moe on this one . Much like the chubacabra and bigfoot pictures this is way to insignificant to point to any rational signs of alien life . Even the "I wanna believe" part of me thinks this is bogus .
chupapoo
is it wearing a santa hat?! LOL!

Perhaps if this thread has gotten off-topic, then perhaps it has gone as far as it can.

I suppose so..
But again, for whatever it is worth, the picture is not bogus.
It may be a trick of light on leaves,
It may be an old mask that I somehow didn't see, hanging in a tree,
It may be nothing at all but our natural inclination to see faces in the clouds,
It may even be an alien.
But...whatever it was, it WAS there, 20 or so feet off the ground, in that tree, and it is NOT bogus.
I again offer up the full definition scan to anyone willing and able to test it for any sign of manipulation..seriously, if you think it's fake, please, let me send you the full scan in it's original format and detail, for you to examine.

Nightwing, I have to say it's your camera. wink2.gif

It looks like someone wearing a Warsaw Pact chemical warfare suit.

It looks like leaves to me, but people just percieve it as a face. happy.gif

geek.gif Well,it could be a play of light and shadow,or maybe not.It might even be not an alien but some sort of woods or nature spirit.Does look like it has some human features to it.
Nightwing, maybe you can take some other pictures out in the woods. It doesn't have to be that exact spot, but some place else.Maybe you'll come up with
the same face or something similar.
Next time I get to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens I'll have to take some photos. They have part of the gardens that is a natural area with trees and flowers native to Texas. Read on the Shadowlands supposedly there's the ghost of a headless horseman or man there. However I have been there many times over the years and have not seen one ghost.Have to ask the staff next time I go.
They do have several old buildings moved to the gardens,so one of them might be haunted but I don't know for sure.

out of lurker mode, and into full, accredited membership!
Anyway...I took this picture about 4 months ago, while trying out a new lense on my camera.
The sceptical side of me says it's simply an unusual play of light on some hidden tree trunk..
The "I wanna' believe" side of me says otherwise alien.gif .
So, what do you all think?
My word of honor..nothing done other than to enlarge the unusual part of the photo.

where was this ? i've seen the same face with my eyeballs , scared the whits outta me . in central oregon , by the deschuets river . there's more to the story but i've never told anyone . again where was this photo taken ????????????
supervike
Do you realize you are asking questions to a 4.5 year old post?

To me it looks like a guy with his back turned to the camera, with his shoulders up and his head slightly turned down: it looks as if he is urinating to the plants.

Also he's waring one of those wool coats, indigo or violet, with an irregular white stripe, as well as a matching winter cap. The photo quality is awful so it's hard to say what it is for sure. But an alien?!
