Think I've figured it out. Remember the stories of "priests" that, through their knowledge of the stars fooled people with the old "I'm going to black out the sun!" routine?

This is the modern version of it! The science is true, climate change occurs. They missed their mark back in the 70's with the cooling scare, but they've got the tech, the regular people don't... do a little more measurement and this next go around we'll get it right. But in the 70's, there wasn't an internet for the public, now there is. Their scam delivery got outdated before they could pull it off, or I might've been fooled to be a believer in manmade GW too.

Almost were able to make whatever demands they wanted cause the people would do anything to avoid the fate of being fried and unable to breathe, world catastrophe etc... They almost pulled it off, these new prophets of doom.

Yes, there are eclipses. Yes there is global climate change. Neither of them are because of our displeasing of the gods, or gaia, or nature. Nobody noticed my joke in the what do you do to save the world thread where I mentioned using aresol Indoors, so it doesn't waft up outside and float all the miles away to make those holes in the ozone. We're not the cause.

What kind of instruments did we have in 1893 to find these ozone holes? How do we know they weren't there? We Don't. Just like we don't know the exact temperature on July 17th, 11 A.D. The ozone holes, imo, are just as natural as eclipses and climate change.

We have to adapt, the prophets and seers (certain politicians and certain scientists) won't be able to help us. includes finding alternatives for fuel and comfort as well as survival. (no government subsidies for big business. imo let the oil companies and airline companies etc go out of business if they can't make it without subsidies)
