I have quite a few ghost stories. This isn't a ghost story per se, but something that I captured with my camera on holiday in Bodrum (Turkey). Me and my family were visiting the castle in the middle of the city, we were taken around the grounds by a very nice tour guide who gave us stories about particular parts as we were going round. He then took us down into the dungeons, and explained to us the story of a man who was kept down there and tortured for treason for many years, who was finally burnt alive seven years after his capture. They had a manequin of him hanging in the dungeouns, which was made totally of straw. I snapped a picture and went about my day. That night at the bar, I was reviewing my pictures on my digital camera when I came across the picture I took of the model in the dungeouns. It looked blurred and bright, but I couldn't really see I was on such a small screen. Imagine my suprise and shock when I get home and I'm uploading my picture to my PC, when I open the blurred picture and see this:

I am relatively sure this is a camera malfunction, if you look carefully you can see that the flames come infront of the bars, which leads me to believe the camera was at fault. Hell of a coincidence though!

That is a fabulous photo! Hope you can enter it competitions somewhere. Maybe you should copyright it? Great photo.

Was that the figure of the tour guide or maniquin when you took the photo?

It's actually a dummy made of straw that was hanging in the dungeon to show roughly where abouts he was held!

Well, if it is a ghost who made that special effect he is mightly distressed!

What would occasionate the mannequin's head to light up like it appears in the pic?

It's hard to tell if the flames come in front of the bars, but that is definitely one heck of a malfunction.

Am I correct in seeing that the flaming mannequin is casting a light and then dark shadow behind it, on the wall?

I'm one hundred percent sure this flames come infront of the bars. Just to clarify the only two light sources in the room were in those grates, this area was inaccesible to anyone (it was barred off)
