Anyway, do you think the second coming could really come?
and if so, soon?
and would we really know about it straight away? lets say he was born on a normal estate, grew up-went to school got a job etc.....
like the song "what if god was one of us"
i ask this because i watched the omen series last week and damien goes to military school than joins the corporate world.
how do you guys think it would happen, if it could?????

The second coming? Of Christ? You won't know....until it happens. Instead of watching Hollywood scripted idiocy...I would suggest you read the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke regarding the second coming...Jesus explains it better than anyone else can...

....but it goes something like this...Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, but before all this you will be persecuted for my sake....many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many, when they say He is in the desert or come with us He is over here...don't believe them...for as the lightning shining in the East is seen even in the West so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. It will be as in the days of Noah, people marrying and giving in marraige not knowing that the flood was coming until it was upon them....

I think it's possible we could be in the end times. But nobody is ever going to know that. mankind tends to think we are at the end when there is war or change of century, etc. Any kind of change is scary. But the world has always been at war at many times. It's just that we are now living in a time of more wide spread media coverage. So it's hard for me to say yeah or no.

I guess it is interesting that many things come down to the year 2012, like the end of the Mayan calendar. But I've heard many say that it's just the beginning of the "golden era" where mankind will ascend to a different vibration. The era of enlightment.

Guess we'll see...

Sounds kind of wierd, but anything is possible since no human alive knows at all.

It was hard for me to accept it, but I've done it. I don't think he's ever coming. If he does, I'd be glad to take all my words back.

1 Thessalonians 5

1Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

This set of scriptures indicates that NO ONE knows when it wll be exactly. Additionally, please note that within years of Jesus resurrection, people were sure they were living in the last days. Almost every generation has been CONVINCED they were the last.

Zechariah 2
A Man With a Measuring Line
1 Then I looked up—and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand! 2 I asked, "Where are you going?"
He answered me, "To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is."

This passage gives indication that prior to the Great Tribulation Jerusalem shall be a city without walls. Cities had walls as protection against attacks from neighboring countries. Therefore, if Jerusalem, the Capital has no walls it indicates Israel has no reason to fear enemy attacks. Currently, especially as Israel fights Syria and Iran's puppets Hezzbollah and Hamas, it is very difficult to picture Israel at peace with it's neighbors. When this happens, when Israel is at peace with the Arab countries, then you can begin cashing in your life insurance, sell your stocks, and begin hoarding food, cuzz it's going to be a rough 7 years!

If I remember correctly, The four winds (in order) are:

1) Atomic Bomb and its affects

2) Meteor

3) Earthquake

4) A MAJOR shift in the earths crust

An the Even sadder thing is:

"The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plaques, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which can not either see or hear or walk; nor did they repent of their murders or their sorcery's or their immorality or their thefts." Revelation 9:20-21

Why "HE" i see no reason why Jesus (or god) should be male or female. Personally i think they would be at least Asexual or more likely as higher beings their sexuality would be uncomprehendable to us. By saying HE or SHE when speaking of god you limit your ability to comprehend or recognize what may be a completely different concept

You know when the the earth is about to end when you see the flanders(off the simpsons) floatting towards heaven.
