DUBLIN, Ireland - Irish archaeologists Tuesday heralded the discovery of an ancient book of psalms by a construction worker who spotted something while driving the shovel of his backhoe into a bog.

The approximately 20-page book has been dated to the years 800-1000. Trinity College manuscripts expert Bernard Meehan said it was the first discovery of an Irish early medieval document in two centuries.

"This is really a miracle find," said Pat Wallace, director of the National Museum of Ireland, which has the book stored in refrigeration and facing years of painstaking analysis before being put on public display.

"There's two sets of odds that make this discovery really way out. First of all, it's unlikely that something this fragile could survive buried in a bog at all, and then for it to be unearthed and spotted before it was destroyed is incalculably more amazing."

The book was found open to a page describing, in Latin script, Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations' attempts to wipe out the name of Israel.

Strange and interesting find especially that is was open to Psa 83 considering what is happening today in Israel.

Psa 83:1 A Song. A Psalm. Of Asaph. O God, do not keep quiet: let your lips be open and take no rest, O God.
Psa 83:2 For see! those who make war on you are out of control; your haters are lifting up their heads.
Psa 83:3 They have made wise designs against your people, talking together against those whom you keep in a secret place.
Psa 83:4 They have said, Come, let us put an end to them as a nation; so that the name Psa 83:5 For they have all come to an agreement; they are all joined together against you: of Israel may go out of man's memory.

Coincidence, I don’t believe so!

Sometimes there are one too many coincidences for me also.

Synchronicity
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Synchronicity is a word coined by the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung to describe the "temporally coincident occurrences of acausal events." Jung spoke of synchronicity as an "acausal connecting principle" (i.e. a pattern of connection that cannot be explained by direct causality). Plainly put, it is the experience of having two (or more) things happen coincidentally in a manner that is meaningful to the person or persons experiencing them, where that meaning suggests an underlying pattern. It differs from coincidence in that synchronicity implies not just a happenstance, but an underlying pattern or dynamic that is being expressed through meaningful relationships or events. It was a principle that Jung felt encompassed his concepts of archetypes and the collective unconscious, in that it was descriptive of a governing dynamic that underlay the whole of human experience and history—social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. Jung believed that many experiences perceived as coincidence were due not merely to chance, but instead, suggested the manifestation of parallel events or circumstances reflecting this governing dynamic.

Global Consciousness Project
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Global Consciousness Project, also called the EGG Project, is the most significant of current scientific research projects into parapsychology. Based at Princeton, the project researches into the theory that the human consciousness may create or otherwise influence objective reality by means undetectable via current scientific sensors.

Working on the assumption that while the field of an individual's consciousness is too small to be measurable, the combined field of a large number of people who are experiencing similar thoughts or feelings is measurable, the GCP research suggests that such a field exists.

An amazing find. It's a good thing it wasn't destroyed by the backhoe when it
was unearthed.
