A local legend is getting new life. In the last two weeks, there were three separate Bigfoot sighting in rural Atoka County. The final sighting included photos that some say is the mysterious creature itself.Talk to people around Clear Boggy Creek in Atoka County and you will here thousands of stories. But last week, the legend himself, Bigfoot, was supposedly spotted in those very woods.They have grown up on these woods and know them well. But last week, 13-year-old Morgan Whatley and her 12-year-old brother Garrett came across something strange right across the creek was a creature she'd never seen before.But the claims of the Whatley kids were passed off as a child's imagination. That changed just days later when a woman in her fifties had to be taken to a hospital. She reported seeing a big hairy creature in her yard and had an anxiety attack.

It's all over the newspaper and on everyone's mind; what was seen at boggy bottom? Some people say it is Bigfoot. Others aren't believers yet.A local store owner set up game cameras hoping to catch a glimpse. The pictures are below. We'll let you be the judge.

Looks like a big pile of fur. But that's a pretty darn close to him. I'm going to finish reading the article now.

the hair looks convincing but the legs look a little short. looks like a half-man, half-bear creature.

Must be a fake. How else would you get such close shots of an elusive creature? That's like taking a photo of your kids next to Nessy.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read that they were set-up cameras... but still. Good shots considering they had no idea where to aim the camera... hmmm.

Let me just mention that this is in my back yard.

It's weird, because the fur looks like what you'd expect a guy that lives in the woods to look like. Just that you get the impression it's wearing it, somehow, or that thing has a HUGE head. And you get a clear look at the hand, and I can't make out a sleeve.

I'm really hoping this turns out to be real, it would be huge if it were. And it would totally justify us all being here. That being said, I'll be waiting to see what comes of this.

Never have i seen a creature which pelt divide from the back and to the legs. It's clearly an old tree or whatever that's been covered in bear furs or atleast i see no other reasonable explation for the weird "border" on the backside as if the back is covered in one layer of fur and the legs in another.

Fake, the limbs are completely disproportionate to the body for an ape. I will give credit to whoever came up with the big-ass idea though, since it’s like what female chimps have... problem is it doesn't match any descriptions of bigfoot who seems to closer to gorilla's or orang-utan rather chimps.

Looks pretty fake to me. If they were able to get shots this good, you think they would've been able to get a clear shot of its face.

Yep those pictures are way to clear to be real. Perhaps if they shook the camera while filming or maybe smears the lens with a bit of butter it would have more credibility to the skeptical among us.

look at how small the hands are too. if the legs and hands were bigger and the pics were taken from further away, i might be convinced. i do believe there may be something out there in the woods, evading us humans, but not in this pic.

If I'm right that it is wearing another pelt over its back, than it does actually match the description quite a lot more. That would mean the fur colour on the arms is it's real colour.

You people keep saying it's fake, then you go on to name some moronic reasons.

Such as it's not suppose to look like that, or the legs aren't right for apes. The thing you forget is, it's most likely an undiscovered species, and it may baffle scientists. Why does it have to be exactly like we'd expect it to be for it to be a real picture?


People complain that some pictures quality is horrible, now they complain it's too good. What would you consider the ideal picture of bigfoot?

This could actually be real. I'm as skeptical as anybody but there is something about those hands and that fur. Here is my theory after looking at this, maybe the bigfoot is wearing an animal skin, it could be smart enough to make such a thing, it actually appears to be the entire back of a bear of some kind. Maybe it uses it to blend in with bears (smell wise), considering a bear might be it's biggest threat out there. anywho, just a couple of thoughts - amazing pictures though if they are real.

why would it try and blend in with the bears, they'd attack it because its in their territory. (bears are not social animals, they are territorial, and unless a female is with its mate, or the mother is with its young, those are the only times you will see bears close to other bears.)

they aren't buffolo, so it won't try and blend in with the bears. it will get attacked.

I'm usually very skeptical about these sort of things, but something about the pelt makes it seem slightly more genuine. Kind of stupid, seeing as it could easily be just as fake as anything else, but still. About it trying to blend in, I doubt that would be possible, that would just make it more prone to being attacked by other bears.

Yeah, It's sickening how people can kill animals for such a stupid reason.

One thing I think is interesting; the sighting was in Oklahoma, and the 'thing' is wearing a brown bear pelt, but brown bears have been extinct in that region for quite a while. So either whoever devised this hoax made a stupid mistake, they did this deliberately to have us guessing, or maybe bigfoot just has a very old coat.

it wouldn't need a pelt, pelt's were used for warmth, bigfoot is covered in fur in the first place, it would be illogical for it to need a pelt. it also wouldn't be for decoration, if it was it would have primed it. so that it became a sort of ornament for its victory over the bear.

it is but a prank, done for the money for the photo's. the arms and hair are that of a brown bear, and again I state that a bigfoot already has hair, so it has no use for a pelt.

Methinks this mystery solved!

Here is a close-up of the left hand. Looks kinda human to me? You can see an outline of the fur coat just above the wrist and a sleeve. In the hundreds of bigfoot siteings that i've read, they have never described an animal wearing an article of clothing or fur.

Also, isn't this in Texas?? Isn't it hot as hell there right now? What does he/she need a pelt for?? I'm sweatin my ass off in Canada.

Actualy, that could just be it's hair. It isn't necessarily wearing animal skin on it's back. It just looks like it has wavey hair. Has tons of "cow licks", lol.

Okay, those pix look completely fake to me. Have any of ya'll ever seen "bigfoot" as ya'll would call it? They look nothing like that... its a fake!

I live here in Atoka. I am very skeptical of believing in this. Plus there was no pic's in the newspaper. I was born and raised here in this town. My grandparents used to own part of land connected to boggy river. We went out there often, i never heard of bigfoot or seen it in Atoka county. The thing is, they said in the newspaper that year back people had seen bigfoot. One thing to be scared of in this town is the prisoners that break out from the 2 surrounding prison around us. At the time of the sighting there was 3 prisoner on the loose.

We took a very close look at the Atoka bf pics and finally found the right thumb of the right hand. It is curled across the middle part of the cupped hand in partial shadow. The thumb is surprisingly long. It has gray and white colored skin and is covered arcoss the top with short, dark brown fur. The upper part of the palm was hard to find as it is very long. You can barely make it out as one of the pinkish or white circles at the top of the hand. The body hair or fur appears to be dense brown and very short.

What really freaked me out is the veins bulging in the neck in the first pic. You can also make out two very long "buck teeth" above the bottom lip.

As for the stature of this subject, this appears to coincide with what we've heard about other unidentified critters...being "squat and short-legged with short arms." Not typical of bf. The facial and neck skin coloring is also very unique. The ghostly cast of the pale white-gray face would lead one to think that this subject, if seen at night, would probably appear to cast as a white or pale green glow in the moonlight. Given the dark furry body, it would look like a bodiless head hovering in the darkness.

Wearing an animal skin would make sense as it would throw a scent and help in preventing direct detection if seen in the brush. It would also protect the subject if attacked by another animal. But given the subject's gorgeous attributes, I don't think I'd drop down and start biting its ankle any time soon. LOL

If there is one critter there has to be more.

By the way, did the owner of the pics go out to see what the critter was looking up at in the trees? It appeared to be looking for something...or scenting the air. Looking for the camera maybe?

from how it looks i would say fake but the thing that bothers me about people is that whenever there is a blurry picture of some crypto, you get the complaints "How come all crypto and UFO pics/vids are crappy???!!! OBVIOUS FAKE!!" but when a clear image IS presented its "Whoa, thats way too clear, obviously faked..." Soooooooo, what do you want? Clear? Blurry?

I agree that it looks like a half-man/half-bear creature. If you look at its right hand, it doesn't seem to be facing the direction a normal human hand would, it almost looks like it's at the wrong angle. Not sure what it is, maybe a man raised by bears? It's happened before.

I've seen the Patterson-Gimlin film numerous times and if you look at some of the enhanced footage it is really remarkable. You can see the jaw outline of the creature and it doesn't look human. I think that P/G is the best footage ever. The Manitoba footage last year was inconclusive because the creature/subject was too far away to get a good image resolution. But the guy who shot it was adamant about what he saw. I think that he actually did shoot footage of one.

There was one guy who shot some footage in sonoma, cali that showed something interesting but not clear. When he was contacted to answer questions he was difficult and was giving diffrent explanations on different occasions. I think he was proven a fraud.

But there are definite fakes out there and to me this looks like one. Somebody looking for their 15 minutes of glory.

Look at the shade from the tree right of the creature how it is casting to the left. The creature is clearly standing in the bright sunlight and should also be casting a shade or shadow to the left. What have here folks is a over grown groundhog why else would it not cast a shadow? Then it must be a fake!

Sorry dudes, to me it looks like some nutbar wearing a bearskin. It might be some frustrated guy upset at the lack of evedence.

Maybe it is really cold... seriously. What's to say this animal doesnt have a higher body temp than us? Maybe that is why it would be "wearing a coat". I have no opinion yet on whether this is real or fake. I'm going to wait for more evidence to surface before I make that assumption. If It were me however, I would go to best buy, get a webcam, and set up a 24/7 bigfoot watch. hey, if the thing strayed infront of a camera once, who's to say it wont do it again?

Okay, now I have to go back and really study those photos or do another search. I sure didn't see all that detail. Bulging veins and buck teeth? Color on the hands? I must be blind. I totally agree that it looks fake. The first thing I thought was it's a bear skin. I think it's fake because of what it looks like, not because it's "too clear". That's stupid too dismiss it for that reason alone. We all complain because photos and video are always too blurry. If bigfoot is real, then one day someone will get very clear photos. Isn't that what we all want?

If you look at the close up of the rear angle shot, you can actually trace the outline of either a wolf or coyote skin, draped over the back of this supposed "bigfoot" - Sooo, unless bigfoot kills animals and wears their skins like ancient man - we have a fake here! - Too bad - It would be nice to have verifiable, or at least believable evidence!
