I just thought these pics needed discussing. I know theyre taken from the main page but i cant help but think this is one big con yet again. They look nothing like the stereotype bigfoot. I think its just a bear walking upright. If you were close enough to take these pictures i think youd go out on a limb and make a noise or throw a rock at its head to get it to turn around. Typically, bigfoot pictures are obscured in some way either by brances or a shaky camera but in this case its great quality just no frontal images. Just enough to make you think it could be bigfoot but not enough to confirm it.

Also notice it has no opposable thumb! whats that all about?

The first two pictures look like a gorilla, and the last two looks like a bear walking upright. But who knows.

Bigfoot?.....Naw, more like Smokey T. Bear.

the first two might be something, but the last two just made me laugh yes.gif

Perhaps they were going for a giant sloth look?

Looks like someone or something with a pelt on its back, the fur is a different colour, runs in different directions and you can see where the pelt ends at its butt and elbows. Although the forearm sticking out looks furry too. hmm.gif

Its either smokey the bear or a polar bear in alabama. I'm going with the polar bear one tongue.gif

but you never know. It could be the giant rappid qualla bear native to North America lmao
captain pish
aha! i think youve hit the nail on the head with the sloth idea. Looks just like one! Does anybody know when Vincent Chows book is coming out? Ive been waiting for what seems like ten years for his "difinitive" pictures. I think hes welching on it a bit. He said his book would be out in july to shake the crypto world off its feet with the new bigfoot pics. Im starting to think he doesnt have any picture and is just drumming up publicity for his new book.

Are you sure you'd do that if you were standing next to something so huge? Anyway, I believe the photographs were taken by cameras that had been set up beforehand.

Assuming the thing is wearing a pelt (as suggested by the two very distinct fur types, and unnatural body shape), it's true figure would resemble the typical bigfoot image a lot more nicely. I did a rough outline, it could perhaps be a little smaller though.

user posted image
It looks a lot like a figure wearing a bear pelt here (The bear head is facing upwards and a lower jaw can't be seen; and the fact that it's a bear head on the body of something which is obviously not a bear).

Not saying that I believe this is necessarily a genuine set of photographs, but maybe people should pay more attention before classing something as fake without any serious consideration (and also before blindly believing something)...
coldethyl
I just think those last couple of pictures look like a dude in some kind of costume. hmm.gif

Bigfoot in a tribal costume...obviously. tongue.gif

In the 4th picture it looks like the hand has been rotated outwards, so the thumb is facing towards the camera. Twist your arm 180 degrees to see what I mean. happy.gif
mr_crypto
why is it that who ever took the picture is so close to this thing, and it never turns around. Maybe, its because, it would be harder to fake the front of a bigfoot, than the back. Also, why is it zoomed in so close, why cant we look at the legs and feet?

From the article itself.

A local store owner set up game cameras hoping to catch a glimpse. The pictures are below. We'll let you be the judge.

As for why can't you see the legs and feet, you can. The 4th picture is just a zoomed in version of the 3rd.

Might be too small for a ground sloth. It looks like an Ulfsark (Norse hunter) Which might be a good reason to camouflage his human form, especially in a game-rich area:)

I go with the bear pelt theory. It looks like someone had fun with a stuffed bear. Is it supposed to be standing still in the photo in the open, or walking? If it's walking then it has an awfully small stride, like a toddler...

Doesn't look right . Its hands are almost humanlike considering numerous eyewitness accounts stating that bigfoots have muscular and long arms .

Its looks like it also had a tail . Tho the side view of its face gives almost the exact resemblance of an Orc .

Can't say much for now . Looks fake but at the same time almost real .
Amanda Panda
Looks pretty fake to me... seriously now.

Very odd creature indeed and there appear to be more and more these days. This would be the last thing that any of us would expect to come waltzing into our yard. Even on a clear, sunlight day, it would tend to make ones heart go pitter-patter-ka-thump!

We have seen an influx of very peculiar wildlife in Texas in the past 15 years. The most unusual were several bear-like mammals that were certainly not bear. The features were all wrong and they exited the area bi-pedally. If I had not seen them move on two legs instead of four, I would have said they were some variety of short-nosed bear with tiny ears.

It just bugs me to know that there are unusual things out there and no one has any idea what they are or where they come from.

Schnaffler
I agree with the man in a bear pelt theory. To me, the photos look too staged and unnatural.

Just my opinion.

I'm also resisting the urge to shout "Gentle Ben, you've come back!"

I never realized how many ribs a giant sloth had. That picture has been quoted more times than Bill Clinton.
cyrus11
looks like a guy in a coyote or wolf skin. you can definitely see the pelts edge ending in a v toward the bottom near his rear-end. in fact it looks like he's wearing several layers of pelt.
this is rediculous. people these days are doing more damage for proving the existance of bigfoot than helping it by making so many fake pictures. then again, it might be helping. because the more people think it's a fake, the less likely that people will go out and hunt it.
p.s. check out the hand and arm of that thing. it's totally a human arm. compare that arm with the arm from the patterson film..you can see the difference, that bigfoot has a way longer and more massive arm than the new bigfoot photo, and that patterson bigfoot was a female. this new bigfoot just look like a girlyman in animal skin costumes. grin2.gif

thumbsup.gif it's back seems awfully hairy

That deffinately looks like a pelt to me. The fur pattern doesn't seem to match with that of a primate, it looks more like dog or bear fur

It also looks like a man wearing bear skin or some other animal hide i dont really think its a bigfoot.
crawler2000
if this was a real picture of bigfoot then who ever took the picture or set up camers should have caught the bigfoot climbing or coming down the tree.its a true fake obviously because the back is slouched too much and the hair on the fake bigfoot looks too new like if it wasent touched by dirt in its life.

I'd say a stuffed bear or plet on something. The arm position seems very un-natural. And why would it be standing in that strange pose in a clearing? It seems to be leaning to far forward to balance. The fur looks like it is too long for the size of the figure which could be from a person wearing a large bear pelt.

I sorta figured out that it's supposed to be a Sasquatch wearing a bear's hide, sorta like those cavemen or Viking berserkers.
