For the last two or three weeks i have been meditateing with a buddhist friend of mine and we have been reaching closer and closer to a point that i believe will allow me to experience things that i have never before known.

You see yesterday after finishing two hours of meditation i came to and was able to solve many problems that had been troubling me for a Considerable time.

Is there anyone here with experience in meditation and the concentration involved. I have been meditating for several years now and it has brought me farin my life. Many times i have had an insurmountable problem, whether with my Uni work or with my life and half an hour of meditation can often result in a solution to what had seemed unsolvable.

Anyway i was wondering if there was anyone here who had any real knowledge of the process of meditation for while i am become adept at it I often find it difficult to descend to the utmost depths of my mind and as such my meditation time is wasted.

Any thoughts...

Meditation is an integral part of my treatment of my MS. I have actually rid myself of depression with it. I am much more at peace with myself. Atlantis, I have found if I try to hard at it blows the meditation. It is not so much trying to probe the depths of your mind but letting go of the self and becoming one with all things.

This guy explains it well.
