Iv had experiences in our house before, one that was just as close as this one, but since this one happened only 10 min ago I want to post it.

I was asleep in my room, and every so often I feel something tug my blanket. I never really thought about it, figured it was my tired mind playing games with me. Well tonight I felt my covers being tugged. The first time I ignored it, and the second, figured I was just overly sleepy. However something made me open my eyes, no im not saying something told me to, I just opened my eyes at the right moment, and I caught this strange figure. It was human shaped, but very thing, I mean really thin almost pole like. It didnt have features at all and was smokey, or hazy. It had what im geussing was an arm extended twords my blanket. I watched it for a second and it rolled up like a puff of cigarette smoke and vanished.

As I said, iv seen stuff in this house, but never anything like this.

Have you read up on sleep paralysis and sleep disorders? Oh, and infrasound. I'd check out these things first before wondering if you have something paranormal on your hands.
3y3l3ss
I know of them, but never really read up on them, ill check them out.

Iv also had another experience where I woke up with a little boy standing over me looking very, angry. That was years ago though.

What do YOU think it is?
3y3l3ss
I personally think the house is haunted. Lots of people have seen thing in it, including people who had only been in the house for a day or so and had not been told that others had seen things in it.

Also, and it may sound cheesy, but when my aunt was a teenager her and her boyfriend were devil worshipers and did rituals in my bedroom. Most things seen are in my room, or coming out of my room. ie. When I was 8 or so I saw a little girl with pale red eyes walk into the bathroom, naturally I thought it was my sister but I waited for an hour or so for her to come back out and go back to bed, never happened. When I went and looked no one was in the bathroom.

Every so often we can see a bright light shoot across the hall at about ankle height. That's also been happening for years. Im lead to beleive that the house is haunted.

Yeah, you can toss that sleep paralysis theory out the window.

I'm curious, have you asked your aunt about what's going on now, if anything strange happened then, and what exactly they did? What is she doing now?

Well I don't think you should discount SP just because you had relatives that practiced devil worship there. I'd check out all the mundane factors before I started believing the paranormal, especially since most of your incidents occurred while you were in bed indicating that you were most likely in a sleep/wake state. Sounds really like a sleep disorder. I'd look into that first and see if any symptoms match before scaring yourself to death. yes.gif thumbsup.gif

I agree with dealing in terms of the mundane before the paranormal 100%.....and considering that, if it were to be paranormal, what exactly would you be able to do about it anyway?...I mean besides the obligatory "blessing/cleansing" of the house....what are you prepared to do?
3y3l3ss
I will look into those, but all of the things experienced by myself and others werent while I was in bed.

My aunt told me that they did rituals in the room, she wouldnt tell me what exactly, and she told me that one night after doing it that she woke up and found someone standing at the end of her bed and in her own words "he was as dark as midnight". She left of course and the next day went to church and has been every Wensday and Sunday since.

As far as doing something im not sure what to do, or what im willing to do. This has been going on since I was a child, it's never hurt anyone, and its not much more than an inconvienance(sp).

I dont know what kind of mundane thing this would since some of the things happened while I was fully awake. Not to mention the things that others have seen in the house. I had a friend who swore he saw someone standing in the hall around midnight and refused to come back to our house afterward.

I have to ask this, Who coined the term that your aunt was 'devil worshiping' was it her, the church or yourself?

I only thought to check this because some people see any form of ritual or attempts to communicate with spirits as devil worshiping when in fact devil worshiping is specifically rituals focused with the darkside of things, drawing in dark/negitive energies and entities and so on.

Putting beliefs aside for a moment, was this truely devil worshiping or just attempts to make contact with the spirit world?

They were devil worshipers. They worshipped the devil. My aunt wasnt very into it but played into it because she liked the guy and the guy was very into it. As far as what rituals they did, like I said, she wont tell the family. She doesnt like to talk about it because she's now a very devout christian. The information was gathered from tid-bits from her, and portions from her sister, my mother.

Sleep paralysis is a very real thing that happens to most of us at least once, but even so, we mustn't get carried away and think that everything that happens when one is in a bed, or even even just waking up is due to sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis gets its name from one of its factors.......paralysis. Was there any paralysis involved 3y3l3ss ? Have you discussed with your family a plan of action?

I think we often notice a spirit presence more when we are in bed simply because we are being still and quiet, not distracted by other things.

LOL!!! Well said Onyxdk

I agree this could be the reason for strange occurrences. What more can you tell us about that angry-looking boy who materialised in your youth?

Off topic: Sweetpumper I love your nick and who is that in your sig?

@3y3l3ss: dude, my grandfathers house was the same - full of freaky events.
We would sit in the lounge and the door would open and close and a cold wind move slowly over everyone, you could hear people walking up and down at night, funny noises with no source and lots and lots of bad luck associated with that house.

Sometimes places are just freaky I reckon.

Thats what I was thinking about last night as I laid in bed in the same room o_O. There was never any paralysis involved in either situations. I got right up and walked out of the room both times.

The boy I remember really vividly. He had dark black hair, that was slicked back, with grease or something. He was only like 5"4. He had dark clothing, looked to be from the 20's or 30's. They looked like a suit with the jacket taken off....only way I can really explain it. And he just looked pissed, very pissed. I remember his pupils looked like they were fully dialted because the only color in them besides the white was dark-balck. Naturaly this bothered me, because as soon as I saw him I rolled over away from him quickly, and hopped off the other side of the bed, and he was gone by the time I straightened up.

I agree. Iv been in two houses that just wreaked of strangeness. This one and another one that my family lived in for a little while. The strange thing is, its always me and my sister who notice things more often than the others. They notice things too, but me and her notice them more often.

Strange that you mentioned that. I remember when I lived with my parents still and I lived in a converted garage. At one point I noticed that whenever I faced away from the doors there was a continuous knocking noise.

It never really used to bother me, then one day my little brother was in the room and he noticed it too. After that every now and then he would hear it too, but not all the time and not always when I could hear it.

No one else ever heard it.

Freaky, really.. Our house had a garage add-on at one point, they eventually raised it, and made it into an extension to the house. But while it was still a seperate room my Uncle lived in it for a while, and he heard knocking every-single night at exactly 12am to 2am from the right wall. Couldnt ever figure it out, but I talked to my grandad about it who thinks that it was plumbing. I dismissed it afterwards.

Ok, The devil worshiping as your aunt calls it could have opened doors so to speak. Now I don't personally believe in demons, that's just my opinion, but going by the like attracts like rule, anything that focuses on the darker side could invite negitive energy/entities in. It's also possible that your aunts boyfriend was just full of it and deluded himself as a devil worshiper. I find people who spout that nonsense are on nothing but a power trip using fear to control or defend themselves against others. It only works if the receipant allows themselves to be manipulated by it. To me it's nothing more than energy grabbing or vamping. Anyway not to get side tracked, without being there it's hard to know, it's possible since the rituals took place in your room that there's a vortex. Ideally to fix this you want someone who can close the vortex and cleanse the energy from the house.
3y3l3ss
You're right, there's no real way of knowing what they did there because we werent there, and she wont tell anyone. I never knew the guy that she was with at the time, it was just a fling thing so there's no telling. Im going to let it stand for now, and if anything else happens ill post it and talk to my family about getting the house cleansed.

You seem to have made up your mind that the house is haunted. Good luck. thumbsup.gif
3y3l3ss
I havnt made up my mind on it, I just dont know anything else that can explain everything that has happened.
